What makes SRK different from Aamir?

😉😲 So SRK is commenting on AIB and I am surprised with his comments. So what if Aamir is in controversy? What makes SRK different? He won bought awards for HNY a while back. So, how is he so special? I respect Aamir for his choice of movies and he can comment however the hell he feels like. Please share your thoughts.

both said pretty much the same thing, srk was just gentle with his words.

Aamir picks good scripts. Srk does desperate promotion of his film whole year with pathetic script. Aamir goes for story Srk goes for directors. Aamir mould himself to the character he plays. Srk chases a big date to release his film. Aamir's films make lifetime collection records. Srk's film can only make opening day record collection that too with help of aggressive promotion.

On the AIB issue, because unlike Aamir, SRK waited to see how people were reacting to AIB and picked a very neutral response while Aamir jumped ahead

Aamir was offended, stated it, but then took on a haughty tone by condemning KJo and Ranveer and Arjun. What was it he said? he "scolded them" and something about being responsible with creativity...the same guy who came up with Delhi Belly.


SRK has lots of faults. Aamir...showed that he actually has faults 😆

SRK is a lesser evil.

Buying awards is not worse than deserting a kid or cutting off relations with own father.

SRK is anyday more articulate and well spoken than Aamir though he has his share of controversies too.

Aamir's too serious or maybe tries to be too serious. His choice of films and taking up social causes is the only thing that sets him apart. Aamir is more about cinema, SRK is more about entertainment.

AIB roast comments only showed once again how SRK has an edge over Aamir in choosing words and putting forth an opinion in public. I must say even Nana Patekar's words were better than the ones used by Aamir though both had similar stance against AIB Roast.

Specifically in the context of the AIB controversy, SRK was smarter, diplomatic and palatable.

Aamir Khan made a moral judgement on AIB. He deemed it violent and expressed disapproval. He reprimanded the participants.

SRK didn't say anything about the shows content. He basically stated to each their own. He avoided thrusting his principles on others.

In the end of the day both SRK and Aamir are humans. They both have their sets of virtues and flaws. Neither of them are 100% right or wrong all the time. There will be situations where SRK is wrong and Aamir right, and vice versa.
