I wonder what exactly it is that appeals to viewers in shows like this that the TRPs are so high. I am not mocking the fans of this show, it is a genuine question.

Anytime I come across this show while changing channels there is a party going on or some silly plotting to frame or harm Pragya and she has to prove herself innocent. Like seriously????

Do the the 'creatives' have a story to tell at all? Preferably without objectifying women and showing them in such poor light..

TRP's are high because sadly many people amongst the audiences prefer the abla nari scenario and like to pity the female lead, many of my aunties prefer such shows bechari patni has to fight for her husband's love and affection🤢

Fight for her husband and her family as she should. Not have the wool pulled over her eyes by Aaliya and Tanu...

Pragya behaves as if she had a personality transplant. Hope cvs bring some change !

There are so many Stereo types that need to be broken in Indian television epsecially dramas...
One can't understand why the double standard really the set of rules for Movies and Television so different why??

The heroine wearing a bikini being a career oriented women kissing the hero or getting kissed by him is A Okay...but the same shown in the drama...the lady turns out to be a vamp????

Why???

Why Oh Why is the character of a perosn especially the Women based on her dressing???? Why...

A persons way of dressing has nothing to do with ones character or personality...so why don't drama's show that...make the uneducated or even the so called educated masses aware of such that not all saree and shalwar kameez wearing women are Saints or Sati Savitris...can be poisonous too...because of their characters or personality and vice verse that not all career oriented and modernly dressed women are not Vamps or home destroyers etc..that they can be as saint like or sati savitri ..

Another thing that is really irritating is the good women willing to take all the abuse melted out to her quietly by her hubby or his family...this promotes domestic violence in my opinion...showing the women that a good girl, lady never ever complains but only bears all , even if it results in her death.

Same way why are men allowed to do anything or war anything and its alright?? Hes still the hero...

Example Abhi leading two women on ...one Tanu who he keeps saying he loves and Pragya who he does not even divorce just so he can keep his dadi happy...why is it ok?? Why isn't he shown as a first class Ass or a Hypocrite...

He has been shown to abuse Pragya verbally, mentally and sometimes even physically...

So why is he still a Hero??? and not the Villain??

A man is not a villain if he wears shorts, shirts, pants, jeans !!! Why??

A man is not good or bad no matter what clothes he wears or does not wear...so the question is are all these stereo type rules for Women and not for Men or the rules are different and are gender biased??

Ekta who started some trends in her ht shows can now as she herself is a working career oriented women show that women can work after marriage, be independent, dress choice does not show ones character, personality, etc.

So why is Pragya shown to be so submissive ...backbone or self respect-less ...with no integrity ...once she got married????

She was shown completely different in the beginning and after marriage it all change ...??

👏 It is as if Ekta doesn't want the audience to think Ki clothes don't have any bearing on a person's character, she just to adds on to this misconception.

I hate how only the women have prove their chastity while men can go on doing whatever pleases them. Why only Tanu is to be blamed when Abhi is stringing along two women.

We can all argue about how stereotyped and weak Ekta portrays her heroines to seem, but unfortunately, this is what the housewives - who form a major portion of the viewers - like! 🤢
How many serials with a strong woman character have run for more than a year or two?

The youth of today YEARN to see some good shows where the heroine is a combination of beauty and brains, but we don't form the major audience, so our opinion really doesn't matter. 😡

channel v is for youths.maybe u can watch that. GECs like star, colors or zee target the age grp 26-70. So they will make shows accordingly.which is logical as well.
