Gan - I just went through an entire thread which lists all the reasons Ishita is not a great wife/woman/fictional character/doesn't deserve Raman..blah blah. You get the point. If you wanna fry your brains, visit it.š³
Raman acted like a concerned husband and it suited him. Shows all the character growth that he's come about. No need to say this separately - I love Raman. *Sigh* I liked how he sort of suspected Adi to have done something but then throws it away because Ishita, acting like the character she is, refrains from mentioning the mind games of the devious child from him *Face Palm*
Coming to the episode - love the whole "natural-ness" of the episode. From the husband and wife sort of fights in the kitchen to the childishness that was the Tom and Jerry Chase to the mother and daughter scene to the whole someone comes back home from outside and the treatment meted out to each character today (Romi, Mrs. Bhalla, Mihir, Rinki, Simmi -everyone). I did not watch the Adi scenes, so I'll refrain from commenting on it and him - I've ranted enough about him. *Rolls eyes*
These two have amazing comfort levels on screen - I don't really care about their off screen equation. It's rare to find on television screens (I've seen it only in Monica and Chandler in Friends and Viren and Jeevika in EHMMBH (a show I watched only 'cause I love Karan Tacker's face *can see all the judging looksš* and it may be because those two are best friends -could be going out - sorta people)).It's not about the hotness of the touches or the sexual chemistry, it's more of the physical chemistry - little touches here and there, tender moments, looking at the other person when she/he is talking, tight side hugs, pillow talks - that gets to me. Makes me smile. Makes me blush.š
About Ruhi going for Ishita before her grandmother - a lot was said on the forum about it yesterday - for me it simply represented a six year old's priorities. It's not about not loving your grandmother, it's about loving your mother the most. That is not wrong. At least I can't see the fault.
Anyway, lots of Ishita haters and fans on the forum. I don't understand if it's because they don't like/dislike DT or hate/love the character of Ishita or just love/hate Raman more. It's a chicken egg thing I suppose. Personally, I couldn't watch the show for either Raman or Ishita separately - they are both too broken and have too many faults - it has to be IshRa together. I wouldn't give a rat's ass about the show or else. Too much saas-bahu shit for me to take in for anyone!
<3 the collages. <3 you.
