Randhir crashed into the door of his training room, jerking it open with his foot, causing it to smash loudly against the wall... his body shouted one thing only...anger. Saying that he was pissed off was an understatement... His nerves swelled up near his temples as he fisted his hands. The audacity of this woman !!!...No one... no one ever dared to talk to him like that...but this woman, this little piece of a woman... He felt his blood boil just thinking about her !
"I was so wrong in thinking we could work together and take on our enemy..." he thought. It was so untrue whoever quoted the two could be together against a common enemy. Leave aside trust... she couldn't even be worked together or taken along... Everything, every actions, every damn movement went according to his plans...until...until she entered his life...and turned everything upside down. ...Each time she crossed his path it was nothing but disaster. He remembered all the past events which just fueled his rage more. But still he thought maybe there was this tad bit of hope that she might be a good card in their poker.
But he never thought she would be that controlling card which will neither be a show or pass. She always had been the possessor of upper hand on him. She had this ability to provoke him to get the worst out of him.
He crossed the room to reach the wall near the window... He forcefully punched his rage out on the plaster, which wore off the moment thereafter. He needed to blow off the anger spread in his whole body... before it ate him from inside.
He was numb... he didn't even felt the pain that was supposed to follow the hard punch thrown on the wall...Maybe...may be her words were far more poisonous and painful than this mere wound...He was angry at her, sure...but more than that he was angry at himself... why her words affected him so much... why did they made a difference... the whole world could call him a ruthless killer, a criminal...it didn't matter him...but her...he...he didn't like it when she said those words... why whenever she accused him, he felt the need to explain himself to her ?...he never gave explanation to anyone...never...never cared...but still he wanted to explain her, explain her that his was not wrong... He closed his eyes in despair... his jaw clenched testifying of his inner turmoil...
He had always been the controlled and patient being, always took pride in being able to deal with care and calmness in the most critical situation... but ever since she arrived he had lost his cool all the time... he so hated her ! ...yeah right ! he told himself... that was why he took every opportunity to touch her...to kiss her... her behavior, her words riled him up...and what did he do in retun ? he took out his anger by kissing her...her touch passed this uncanny sensation through him...it...it kind of soothed him...Funny how he found the remedy of the pain in the touch itself of the being that had inflicted the pain...
He walked toward the couch and leaned over it, gazing towards the only source of light, the window. Craning his neck he noticed the dark ceilings above...why was this so complicated, he wondered...but among all this, he had understood one thing, one thing was clear... He couldn't trust himself around her...
Clearing his mind away, he quickly got up and scheduled his session with his punching bag. He has to keep away from her for his own sanity, he told himself.

Sanyukta turned the knob only to see her daughter and Karan standing there, gazing her way.
"Oh you guys are home..." She asked enthusiastic.
"It's weekend Sanyukta..." Karan told her with a smile, as he advance to hug her.
She happily moved further, and then hugged Tara, "How is my baby..." she asked pulling her cheek. Tara happily cuddled with Sanyukta. A bone crushing hug and some tears later, she went away saying it was time to watch her favorite show. Karan looked at Tara's retreating figure and thought it to be a good opportunity to ask her.
"So... what happened?" he came straight to the point. She had disappeared three days without any sigh of life...something had definitely gone wrong !
"Meaning?" she asked back in confusion.
"I know how much of professional liar you are Sanyu...so don't try that one one me... " he said smirking...
"Obviously something went wrong...So ?" he repeated his question.
"Coffee ?" she offered, knowing that the next hours were going to be very long !

She settled next to Karan who was pretending hard to ignore Sanyukta, waiting for her to confess.
"Okay fine...Karan stop acting like Tara" she said annoyed with his sulking attitude.
Karan completely ignored her.
"Okey... listen..."
She told him all about how she met with Randhir and his gang. Recounting all the adventures, chases and actions with exhaustive details...of course she carefully avoided any mention of the dangerous proximity she shared with the equally dangerous devil...if Karan knew ever about that, she was not going to hear the end of it ! As she progressed with her dramatic and masaledaar descriptions, Karan couldn't help but laugh at her antics.
Sanyukta pouted and narrowed her brows in confusion, "Karan this is not supposed to be funny..."
"What...Oh C'mon Sanyu, yours and this Randhir guys' relationship sounds really interesting to me !" he exclaimed. "You sound like cats and dogs sequel...always tailing each other" He said describing Sanyukta and Randhir's relationship from his point of view...
Sanyukta threw a hard slam on his shoulder.
"Ouch...that hurts..." he rubbed it.
Cats and dogs, thought Sanyukta...yeah right... granted she could be considered as a cat... even though sometime she behaved more like a powerful dictator with the morals of a North Korean Saddam Hussein...but that was only when the devil angered her...otherwise she was an innocent and peaceful kitten ! ...that settled for her ...but in no way one could describe Ranhdir as a dog...his personality deserved a more domineering position in the jungle food chain... and according to her the top position suited him the most, the one of the king of the jungle, the lion !... don't me wrong...I was not giving him any kind of special treatment by granting him this title... I was just being realistic... he was surely powerful and a ruler material, right...but still, his lack of manners and other subtle human character traits threw him out of the human category ! ...Thus the title of a power lion suited him ! ...Powerful indeed, but an animal nonetheless ! she concluded in her mind, satisfied with her own explanation.
Coming out of her thoughts, she proceeded with her story and finally, after some curses and colorful words, she finished her tale.
"Wow..." came Karan amazed voice.
"So finally the great Sanyukta met her match, han ?... Thank you god...for saving my shoulder from more of her spanks..." he dramatically joined his hands and prayed to god, teasing Sanyukta
"Very funny Karan... but aisa kuch nahi hai" she said sensing where was going Karan.
"Aisa kaisa ?" asked Karan, arching a taunting eyebrow. ...Don't ask me how the brow was taunting...he just was !
"Karan seriously aisa waisa kuch nahi hai !" she retorted.
"But aisa waisa kaisa ?" he said hardly controlling his laughter.
"Ok let me explain, aisa tab waisa hota hai, jab the person in front of you waisa nahi hota jaisa wo hai." said Sanyukta stretching in each words.
Karan only looked at her like she had grown two heads. "I knew you were not normal from the beginning...but this little vacation among gangster took the last bit of sanity from you my dear... my most sincere condolences... I'll pray for you tonight" he tapped her shoulder soothingly.
"Karaaan..." she said annoyed.
"Sanyuuu" retorted Karan matching her annoyance.
They both ended up lauging.
"Ok forget it...he is nothing but a barbarian without manners that only uses force for nearly every other thing..." she clarified her point, remembering their last moment together. She sighed...
"But still he achieved to hold you so far..." Karan pointed out.
"Are you my friend or his?" Sanyukta asked in frustration as Karan was not at all ready to give up on his 'tareef' ...Aise, friends hon to dushmanon ko kis ki zaroorat hai ?! Whoever said that "the enemy of your enemy is your friend" had it easy... if she had to remake the saying to match it to her own experience, she would say "the enemy of your enemy is an even bigger enemy" ...yeah that suited better !
"That's an achivement Sanyukta ji..." Karan spoke again, breaking her philosophical thoughts.
"I hate him and that's his only achievement... I sooo hate him ! ...his way of talking... this idiotic smirk on his stupid face... and when he looks at you like that...uuurgh" she said recalling his every expressions.
"Hmm..." Karan just nodded as she counted Randhir's wrong points over her finger-tips.
"Look at you like what might I ask ?" asked Karan now a bit more interested.
"You know when he raise his left eyebrow and look at you like he is some Greek god about to pronounce the judgment of the poor mortal that you are..." she huffed she describing him lost in her thoughts. At that moment she realized something...he always said that she thought so high of herself... yeah may be she did... but what did he do ?... he may have never said something like that but his actions surely said it for him. He was arrogant, assertive, domineering... ! She noted it in a corner of her mind, promising to point it out to him the next time they will meet each other...because she knew they were going to meet again...
Karan laughed at her description. She had a way of saying things...it always felt him speechless...
"And his eyes !!!! ...His eyes how can I forget them...they are like radars...always behind me, calculating and judging...urghhh" she complained in frustration.
"And how can I forget to tell you...woh janab har choti choti baat pe gun nikal lete hain...Pata hai karan ...kuch bhi bas he loves flaunting his gun..." she told him like a drama-queen
"And his jaw is always clenched...uske teeth...i wonder ho can they not dissolve with so much pressure ...Mr. Pressure cooker...he needs to chill a bit" she kept on enumerating his qualities.
Till now Karan was just enjoying her antics, finally he spoke up "For someone you hate with all your heart...You really have closely observed him" he remarked, hiding his smile.
The realization dawned upon her.
"I mean his eyes, his jaws, his teeth... Wah Kya baat hai...dushman ki analyze karna to koi tumse seekhe...great going Sanyu" he taunted her.
Sanyukta mentally slapped herself for involving herself into a typical bitching girl type of talk. This was way too much. She definitely sounded like a hormonal teenager talking about her latest crush. She looked in another direction to avoid Karan accusing and taunting eyes... To cover up her blunder she blurted, "Keep your friends close but your enemies closer..." she got up picking their mugs away.

Sanyukta roses from her bed to reach the window sill, gazing at her wrist watch she noticed it had been 5-6 hours she had come back from the den. The talk she had with Karan made a realize one thing... she knew she was attracted to him...who would not ! I bet his one glimpse could bring back life into a deadbody... the guy was God's gift to the womankind... !... but there was more...even though she hated him, even though he was a criminal...even though he had kidnapped her daughter... there was this weird feeling she got around him...she could not pinpoint exactly what it was though...but there was something...that much she knew... and there was also the fact that he had saved her life more than once...she could not overlook that fact even if she wanted...as if she was breathing the air today, as polluted at it was might she add, it was all thanks to him ! ...and from that day when he saved her for the first time, sometime had changed unknown to herself... he could point a gun on her all he wanted...but she deep down she knew he will never hurt her... sure he was always threatening her and often misbehaved with her... but she knew there was a limit...a limit he will never cross...besides she could blame him all she wanted...he was right...she never openly refused his advances... she sighed...life had never been so complicated she thought. In on hand there was his illegal activities and his killings and the other there was this hidden trust she had developed for him...
Suddenly she remembered the position she is was in, terror filled her eyes ! How could she ?!...She was under radar... If not of Randhir's but all the gangsters as she was now associated with Randhir. She realized what a major blunder she did in fit of her anger, leaving the den unprotected like that was utterly stupid, and coming here was even more foolish...this could be dangerous for Tara and Karan. The consequences of her acts could be devastating.
Panick seized her as she quickly scribbled a note for Karan and packed her hand bag, catching her keys and leaving the house.
The moment she approached her car she struggled to open the door which seemed to not responding to her keys.By the time she turned back to seek Karan's help. A man came from behind and covered her nose with hanky and she passed out due to chloroform.

1 hour later, Sameer's DEN
They had blindfolded her and tied her to a chair, Sanyukta was regaining consciousness when she heard one of the person proudly stating that they now had Randhir's weakness in their hand.
Sanyukta nearly scoffed at that... If anything they were doing him a great favor by kidnaping her. She sighed. ...Ek gangster se chotkara para to dusra a gaya... Fabulous !
Sanyukta just rolled her blindfolded eyes, if only they knew that the truth was much more twisted than it appeared. She decided to clear all the doubts right away, if that could save her life, she was gladly going to inform them about her relationship status with Randhir : ...it's complicated !
"Hey you..." she called out, "Now that you've mentioned it, let me clarify, there's not much between me and that devil" she spoke clarifying the air.
"That's an old way...well played" came Sameer's voice. He looked at the girl she was pretty no wonder Randhir has taken an interest on her.
"Great...kisi ko kuch batao toh log samajhte hi nai han...wah re...krte raho wait...kuch ni hone wala" she leaned her head trying not much to convince the brainless barbarians around her.
"I just wish to beat the hell out of that arrogant jerk" Sameer informed her.
"Count me in...I wish to do that as well..." Sanyukta chipped finally getting a like minded person to bitch about her devil, "I would love to lend a helping hand to you against him"
"I'm sure there isn't smoke without fire...there is surely something between you two.. kuch to hai..." Sameer told her again.
Ok... now was certainly not the time but Sanyukta could not help the thought that came to her mind. The way he said "kuch to hai" reminded her of that scene of the movie Total Syapa with Ali zafar, Yami gautam and Kiron kher. Yami Gautam tells her mother "Mom I feel it... kuch to hai humare beech" talking about her thing going on with Ali zafar and Kiron Kher very diplomatically replies "Han beta... log use problem kete han". She was very tempted to use the exact same line on him saying "The only thing between me and Randhir are problems", the only difference would be the use of plural. Because let's face it, they did not have only one problem, their every interaction was a problem in itself !
"Whatever" Sanyukta finally told him disinterestedly. There were not going to believe her anyway, the basterd had kissed her in front of a witness...
"Even if you are not...we could have fun with you and then dispose of your body..." he said evil intentions showing in his eyes.
Sanyukta's face went blank hearing him. How she hated being this helpless. It's always reminded her of that fateful night when...No, she will fight ! This was not the time to get weak !...Soch Sanyukta soch... She thought for a second and came to the following conclusion : It seemed like saying that she was not related to Mr.Gansgter in anyway did not settle well with them... Cause in that case she would be of no use to them... But on the other hand... if she was related to him... she had better chances to survive as they would want to bargain her... yeah she had better chance that way. She sighed. She was going to put her ego aside and use Mr.Gangster name just this time. With that in mind, she said the first lie that cooked up in her mind.
"Ok ok fine, don't go hyper..." she said with courage. "I'll do anything... but...but please... don't hurt the baby !" she said it in a pleading tone.
"Baby ? What baby ?" asked Sameer confused.
"My... and randhir's baby" she whispered putting an hand on her stomach. Time for some drama, she mentally giggled. She congratulated herself on her ability to create drama out of absolutely nothing !
"You are pregnant ?" he asked interested in the matter.
"Yes" she said in the most weak and broken voice she could gather. "Please don't hurt the baby...i'll do anything...please..."
"Randhir would devastated be if something happened to the baby" she added for a more dramatic outcome... devastated my a**, if given the opportunity, the devil may even look for ways to kidnap her unborn child... which was technically impossible but you got the idea !
"Now this is interesting... very interesting..." said Sameer, smiling evilly. Her plan was working, yipie ! ...Fools ! ...Now she just had to secure one more thing, the fake mother of the fake baby had just been informed of her fake pregnancy...now it won't sound very convincing if the fake father did not go along with her fake story !
"I...I have not told Randhir yet... it was supposed to be a surprise" she said timidly, trying to shed some tear, easier said than done ! It was often how it went in serials, the girl patiently waited for the right moment to deliver the happy news to the soon to be dad, who in return would be the happiest person on earth at that moment and eventually let slip one tear or two ! ...Except that in her case the moment had been chosen in haste, according to the need of the moment, the news was certainly fake and ...she could not even fathom what will be the reaction of the soon to be dad...
"Now now now, that's a wonderful news... let's announce It to Randhir, am sure he will very happy to know that an only friend of his, has borrowed his girlfriend and his baby for some days..." he laughed thinking of all the pain it will cause to him. He regained his seriousness. Yeah very happy, thought Sanyukta, mentally rolling her eyes.
"Either she is very smart or she is playing with us..." Sameer's Right hand guy whispered in his ear
"We will settle that soon...let her be here for night" Sameer spoke loudly and went away.

1 hour later
Sanyukta huffed in anger, why do these lack brains. Even when she extended her hand for help in beating up the infuriating devil, she had to stay trapped here. But now that she had so proudly announced her fake pregnancy... there was no way she could roam around freely she sighed. At least it guaranteed her some hours to live ! ...May be she could rehearsal stomach pain in the meantime... it could came in handy later on...
Her thoughts drifted back to Karan and her conversation about Randhir. It was true she had observed him very closely... he was a Greek god man, she could not help it... And to be totally honest, keeping apart their never ending argument and his domineering nature, she had got used to him...even their bickering was a routine to her... a routine she had come to enjoy to be totally honest...Her thought went back to yesterday and their argument, she knew it was mainly her fault, she was angry at him for successfully overpowering her senses... she did not want to admit it... and at that time she felt it easier to blame it all on him...She sighed. She concluded herself guilty for provoking him purposefully... at many times not to mention, just to satisfy her ego.
"He did save my life twice" she sighs, "But there is no point in regretting now...I will apologize to him next time... but only if he doesn't fuel my rage AGAIN" she fell asleep in her thoughts.

Den, night
Sahil was chalking out a new plan according to Randhir's instructions when his phone rang.
"Hello..." came a squeaky voice with a stale laugh, Sameer was calling in order to inform them about his achievement.
"Well...we have a present for Randhir..." came his voice again.
"What do you mean?" Sahil asked him putting the phone on speaker
"We have his girlfriend...come and get her..." he challenged them.
Randhir froze, he fisted his palms in rage "Sanyukta...?!" Sahil gasped at the rage in his voice.
"Oh and congratulation by the way..." said Sameer.
"What for..." asked Sahil as Randhir kept on clenching and unclenching his jaw.
"Sanyukta is pregnant" at his words Randhir nearly chocked on his saliva...WHAAAT ?? then terror filled his eyes, ...Sameer had landed his dirty hand on her... Anger and worry consumed him... Sameer had...No he couldn't...had he ?...raped Sanyukta... he saw red ! An unlimited rage consumed him... He was not going to leave the f*cking batsard, his blood was in fire... he will torture him and make his death as painful as possible... he concluded thinking about all the most painful ways of killin he knew...He had raped her !!!
...But wait wait wait... a rational thought came to his mind... pregnant ?... in 6 hours ? what the hell ? What the f**king hell ?
"What do you mean she is pregnant ?" he asked totally confused now.
"Oh come on don't play innocent, she is carrying your baby Randhir..." he said.
WHAAAT ?!!! It was the second time in the past couple of minutes that he was having a heart attack. She was pregnant...with his baby ?!!!...what the f'cking shit ! ...He closed his eyes and groaned "Sanyuktaaa..." this girl was totally insane... he just wanted to pull his hair... How the f*ck did this girl do to get that much to him... He composed himself... he will deal with her later, before he had to get her out of there safely !
"Don't you show your jackass self Sameer..." Randhir spoke losing his cool.
"Well ...it's easy to bark on phone...I dare you to come and get her away from my shackles if you can" Sameer taunted him
"I'm warning you bas***d... if you dare to lay a hand on her or if I see a single scratch on her...or the baby" he awkwardly added, "I will personally kill you" Randhir roared over the phone.
"If you're so eager come and have her..." Sameer tells him and hangs up.

Randhir got up from the chair furiously. He rushed his hand through his man cursing his bad outburst yesterday. He completely forgot the vultures preying on her and now since she was in the clutches of that idiot he feared for her safety.
She always ended up in troubles but this time it was because of him. No matter if she wounded his ego, he cannot just leave her and his baby there...waoh did he just says "and his baby" uuugh this girl... foolish woman...why the hell did she say that anyway..."their baby" he said the word making a disgusted face, like he just drunk a bitter tasting sirop...
Randhir convinced his brain...he was going to get her, save her because she was in trouble because of him...there was no other reason... and pulled out his gun from the drawer filling it.
Randhir closed his eyes in anxiety he was going to danger his life and mission for the annoying woman, sighing he brushed past his thoughts. But he wasn't an insane puppy in love to go all by himself. By now Sahil gathered Vidhushi and Parth to meeting room as well.
"Parth and Sahil, you will be clearing the surroundings... Vidhushi..take the entrance... I will take the back door..." he commanded them.
"yes boss..." they nodded and went up.
"We all know the place and we need to infiltrate it..." he said a determined look on his face !
