Episode begins with Sameer sitting behind the wheel in his car, looking menacingly at Saumya, who's busy chatting over the phone, oblivious to the fact that he has a huge red car driven by a loon, heading straight for him…😲but he catches sight of Sameer just as he's revving up his engine, and is inches from Saumya, and at just the right moment, sort of hops on to Sameer's car bonnet…they drive like that for a while, staring into each other's eyes furiously, and then Sameer jams the brakes abruptly, so that Saumya topples off the car and spills onto the road…however, when Sameer steps out of his car, he beholds a Saumya who's not only unhurt, but is actually grinning widely…😛
Sameer reaches him, and in his typical sarcastic tone, says – I'm so sorry Saumya…woh kya hai na, mujhe dikha nahin…main phone pe baat kar raha tha……oh sure…there was a big built, six-foot tall, full grown, extremely annoyed man perched just beyond your windshield, staring at you full in your face, and you didn't see……yeesh…😆anyway, Saumya says equally sarcastically – koi baat nahi Sameer…yeh sab to hota hi rehta hai…par tum apna khayal zaroor rakhna…because when I see you, I won't stop…I'll probably just run you over and be on my way…😆so take care……😛and with that, he strides off, leaving Sameer still grinning stupidly in his wake…😛
Back at Parashar house, Pari's in her room thinking about Nirmala's many moods and shades…she's still indecisive about what to do…she finally makes up her mind, and says that she has to find out…she makes her way cautiously down the stairs, and sees Nirmala and Rangeela with their backs to her, engrossed in watching a movie…she treads quietly behind them, making her way to Nirmala's room…when she's directly behind them, Nirmala suddenly says – ruk! ……😲 and Pari freezes in her step, petrified at being discovered…but it turns out that Nirmala was addressing Rangeela about a particular scene…Pari heaves a silent sigh of relief, and stealthily moves towards Nirmala's room…while they're both preoccupied with the movie, Pari searches the room meticulously, and all her efforts yield a satisfying result – while fumbling through a drawer in the cupboard, she discovers the reportedly stolen diamond bangles sitting pretty just beneath a book…😲she realizes with a hard hitting shock that she was right, and it is indeed Nirmala who's stealing things in her own house…!😕
Just then, outside in the hall, the phone rings…it's Sanjay, and once he's on the line with Nirmala, he asks her for the phone number of someone, which is written in a diary, kept safely in her room…😲at first she is annoyed to leave her movie, but he eventually manages to coax her into doing it…she heads for her room, where Pari's still reeling under the shock of her discovery, and standing motionless with the bangle still clutched in her hand…when she hears Nirmala's voice approaching, she snaps out of her reverie, hastily keeps everything back into the drawer, and moves silently into the bathroom, shutting the door behind her, just as Nirmala enters in search of the diary…she dictates the number, and goes back out to catch the movie…Pari carefully walks out behind her, and makes her way back up the stairs…😲
Once in her room, Pari still can't digest the fact that it's Nirmala who's been doing all this…she decides to immediately talk it out with her, but then instantly discards this idea, remembering Dadaji's words on transforming from Ram to Krishna and taking guidance from the Gita instead of the Ramayana…she then thinks to herself that this time, even if she wants to, she can't give Nirmala a way out of this…she's sorry, but it's just something she has to go through with, no matter what…
Downstairs, Shelly receives a call from her Sameer dearest, casually asking her for 3 lakh rupees urgently, as though cash is something that grows abundantly in their backyard…and Shelly being the over-doting mother, asks no questions and demands no explanations, telling him to wait at the hotel while she gets him the desired amount…😕when she cuts the call, she looks up to find Dadaji smiling at her…he tells her that he knows exactly where she's headed in such a hurry…he understands how a mother's heart yearns for the happiness of her child…however, at this point, rushing over to Sameer with so much money, just at a single whim of his, isn't quite the right thing to do……with that, he leaves a confused looking Shelly wondering what to do…😕
It's night time at Parashar house, and everyone's sound asleep…everyone, that is, except Nirmala…she opens her eyes as she confirms that her husband is fast asleep, and cautiously gets out of bed…she fishes out a pair of thick mustard gloves from under her pillow, and silently makes her way into the main hall…glancing all around her, she sneaks into the kitchen, opens the cupboard, and takes out the silver jug…😲with that tucked safely in her arms, she heads out the door, and onto the patch of garden she uses to conceal her stolen treasure…she gets down to placing the jug in the trunk along with all the other articles she's nicked, and proceeds to cover it up with a shovel…
she's so busy digging, that she doesn't notice the door open, nor does she realize someone watching her, and looks up only when that someone is standing right before her eyes…Nirmala beholds a stunned looking Pari, and gazes at her with indescribable fear in her eyes…😲
Pari finally manages to speak, putting a stop to Nirmala's stuttering explanations, saying that there's no point in saying anything now…she's seen everything with her own eyes, and has understood perfectly…she asks Nirmala – why Chachiji? why did you do it? What reason drove you to steal in your own house? Why??!😕 …
Nirmala finally breaks down, and says – why??! How can I explain it to you Pari…? You'll only fully understand when you become a mother yourself…you'll realize only then that when a child is in desperate need, the lengths to which the mother can go to help her, are unimaginable…you want to know why I did all this, right? Well, it was a mother's desperately aching heart that drove me to stoop this low…I come from a rich family, and am married into an even richer one – who could ever imagine that I, Nirmala, would one day be driven to something as despicable as stealing? But I had a reason, Pari…I did it all for my daughter, for Jitisha…her in-laws may look happy and rich, which they once were, but things aren't as rosy anymore…they've had consistent losses in business, and are now in a major financial crisis…all that crap about trips and factories and companies is pure apple sauce…not a word of it is true…it's all a show, to keep their status in society intact…😲and when my daughter failed in all her attempts to secure finacial stability in the house, I had no choice but to help her…and this is the only thing I could do without her husband getting to know, or without them getting humiliated in society…I've made a horrible mistake Pari…I know how much you've had to go through because of me…but I won't have it any more…tomorrow morning, tell Dadaji everything, and clear your name…tell him that I'm the one who's behind all this……
but we know Pari well enough to predict exactly what she's going to do…and she rises to the occasion, holding Nirmala's hand in hers, looking into her tearful eyes, and saying that she's not telling anyone anything…and Nirmala must never feel that she's made a mistake…😊from now on, all these thefts must be seen as an act of desperation, succumbing to inevitable circumstances…it's not Nirmala's fault…when Pari says this, Nirmala just looks at Pari, lost for words, and finally manages to say – what are you made of my dear child? You've already borne such a lot because of me, and yet you don't hesitate a moment before you absolve me of any guilt whatsoever…😲I have made a terrible mistake Pari…the mistake of not recognizing you for what you really are…not acknowledging your love and kindness…I'm so sorry Pari……and Pari's taken her stand, saying that she hasn't seen anything, and hasn't heard anything…this theft matter is never to be addressed again……and with that, Nirmala gives Pari a genuinely warm hug, brimming with gratitude and affection…😳episode ends with Pari's face, blotched by tears, but content, as though a huge burden has just been lifted off her heart…😃
Now that's what I'm talking about…😃this one's an episode worth watching guys…😃blends in lots of emotions – keeps you laughing at Sameer, marvelling at Saumya's witty in-your-face reply, holds you teetering on the edge of your seat when Pari almost gets caught in Nirmala's room, and finally touches you with a positive ending…👏the only thing missing is the romance, but I hope it'll be blended in soon enough…😳let's see what tomorrow has in store…!😃
