It's a well known fact that Khoobsurat was a fairytale romance. The girl next door meets the charming Prince and they fall in love but it's undeniable that Sonam Kapoor managed to fit in this wacky, crazy role just perfect. Her 'bindass' attitude, her funky clothes, her idea of relationships, no matter how complicated, managed to raise eyebrows and the kind of curiosity which ultimately proved beneficial to the box office collections of the film. What was growing up as an industry child like? Who were your uncles and aunts in Bollywood?

I had a regular childhood. I remember going on holidays with Anil Kapoor and Sunita aunty and interacting with Govinda. My friends were Rhea (Kapoor), Harsh, Sonam, and Arpita (Khan). For me, they were all regular people; I couldn't see them as stars. I rarely went on sets, I found shoots boring. - Varun Dhawan [x]

It's an annual family ritual for Anil Kapoor to bring in his birthday on December 24 with his family. But this time, Anil's son Harshvardhan won't be joining the family as he is shooting for his debut film in Rajasthan.

Anil Kapoor will turn 58 Wednesday. "I'm really happy that I'll be spending time with my wife Sunita and my daughters Rhea and Sonam. We're flying to Dubai for my birthday and Christmas. But unfortunately, my son Harshvardhan can't join us. He is shooting for Rakeysh's (Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's) Mirziya' in the interiors of Rajasthan," he said.

Mehra is said to have been more than willing to let Harshvardhan go for the annual ritual. But the young aspiring actor chose to forego the family vacation.

Anil Kapoor isn't complaining. "That's okay. There will be many other occasions for us to be together. Right now Harsh needs to concentrate on his career," said the actor, who has spent over three decades in the Hindi film industry. [x]
