'Rishabh' means 'moral excellence', also the bull. It was a high compliment in ancient culture, with Arjun of the Mahabharat referred to as bull of his race.
'Bull' and 'moon' epitomizing 'excellence' and 'beauty' in the specific cultural contexts, are unfortunately connected with less flattering connotations in Western culture.
Comparison to the bull is for obstinacy, and the moon is considered symbolic of mental imbalance.
Stars are more commonly considered beautiful in both cultures.

Also, 'Rishabh' was the name of a persona of Lord Vishnu and was a Tirthankara, and so is considered holy by both Hinduism and Jainism.
