The worry of relatives of Bani is growing as they want her to be well as soon as possible, the most Jai. I think Jai knows her well than anyone else, giving this piano, which relaxes her body n mind, is great start of buzz off this disease 👏 👏 I like his actions n his efforts for Bani.

I just read your FF from the beginning today. I am not going to say, I have enjoyed or loved reading it. Actually, I find it very painful to read it because of the knowledge that even though this is a fiction, Cancer and cancer patients are a reality.
I want to thank you, not for the FF you are writing but for making me realise that there is one thing I have to and I am going to do in a couple of days. That is to find out if there is a registry here in Canada and get myself registered there.

Chapter 4

Jai: Naina, I need you to do another favor.

Naina: Oh yeah, what is it?

Jai: I saw her eyes, she is giving up. I need her to fight and so what I am about to tell you is very important and a little hard but you are going to have to do it.

Naina: Okay… what is it?

Jai told Naina the entire plan and looked at Jai in the eyes and couldn't believe her ears…

Naina: How can you love her so much to be able to do all this for her? She will be broken because of this.

Jai: Tears make a person weak and I need her to be anything but weak right now. I need her to fight for something. I know her, she needs to do something with herself at all times and this will give her enough things.

Naina went out the door and planned everything so that nothing would go wrong. After an hour, Naina went into Bani's room.

Naina: Hey Bani.

Bani: Oh hi Naina.

Naina: So, what are you doing later tonight?

Bani: Didn't you know? I am meeting Shahrukh Khan. Come on, be serious. I am dying and stuck in this hospital, what would I be doing?

Naina: I have something we can do.

Bani: I am in no mood to do anything.

Naina: But…

Bani: Please, just leave me alone. I need some time alone.

Naina: You act as if your life is the worst thing that can happen on this planet.

Bani: You are only saying this because you are healthy and fit and you don't have to go through everything that I have to go through. Try living my life and then talking about partying or anything.

Naina: There are people who are suffering more then you, right around you. Have you ever looked in your brother's eyes? Have you seen the pain, the fear? I know you are going through a lot Bani but don't pretend like you are the only one.

Bani: I didn't mean any of that. I know what they are going through. It's all my fault, I know that too.

Naina: Bani, you know it's not all your fault but all I want you to do is think for a second or two here. Rano and Ranveer… when were they supposed to get married?

Bani: Oh…

Naina: Oh it is, their wedding day is in 6 days but of course none of them are thinking about that right now… why? Because they haven't had the time to think about it. Just like you forgot, so did they that they are supposed to be getting married.

Bani: Oh

Naina: Oh… is that all you can say? Stop mopping around Bani as if you have given up. You have to get up, fight this disease, fight the world and live!

Bani: Will you help me?

Naina: With what?

Bani: If I tell you that I want to organize a marriage in 6 days, will you think I am crazy?

Naina: Um… yah.

Bani: Well I do.

Naina smiled, everything was going according to plan. Naina made Bani believe that the entire marriage thing was her plan.

Bani: All right, well let me talk to Bhaiya about this. I know it will take forever to convince them but I will do it…

Naina had already told them Jai's plan and though they were shocked, they agreed. Bani went out of the room to find Ranveer Bhaiya and she found it almost too simple to make her brother agree but she gave no thought to that. Just as she was about to leave after convincing him, she stopped at the door, turned around and in a quiet voice said something that had been bugging her.

Bani: Bhaiya… if you want… I mean since Jai is your best friend, I am sure you want him at your wedding so please invite him.

Bhaiya: Are you sure?

Bani: Yah.

Bhaiya: What happened between you two anyways?

Bani: Reality caught up with me.

With that said, Bani went out the room and back to her room. She busied herself with preparations for the wedding and realized that the wedding had to be small and simple since they didn't know many people here and she knew Bhaiya would never agree to going back to India.

The next morning, when Bani woke up she heard laughter outside the room, that same laughter that used to haunt her for days was standing outside her door talking to her brother. Despite everything that had happened, Bani still put her hair up correctly and made sure she looked okay. She got up with energy she didn't know was still left within her and made her way to the door and opened it enough to get one look at the man that had changed the way she looked at love.

Jai turned around and for one second just looked at Bani and basically pretended to study her as if seeing her for the first time. Bani on the other hand looked him straight in the eye and saw his eyes show shock at the way she looked.

Jai: Hey moti. What happened to you?

Bani: Don't call me moti, I am as thin as a stick right now.

Jai: Haven't we had this conversation before.

Bani: We might have had, I don't remember anything I talked to you about.

Jai: Obviously you don't, otherwise you would be working hard to prove me wrong, to prove that you can survive through this.

Bani: Oh I will Mr. Jai Walia, I will survive and I am going to beat you in your own game one day.

Jai: One day… well that obviously seems far from now. And don't get any ideas, the only reason I am here now is because of the wedding, I had no intentions of needing to see you.

Bani: I know, the wedding is the only reason I am standing you or else you would be out of here by now, out of my sight.

Jai: Oh yeah, and what exactly would you to get me out of your sight?

Bani: You know what, I am actually glad you are here because you are going to witness it everyday that I am getting better and by the end of your stay here, I will prove to you that I am perfectly fine.

Jai: Wow, you know Bani, when you talk like that you really seem strong and you seem like you will actually do such thing but then they probably will put a pill on you that doesn't work and you will go back to being sullen and depressed.

Bani stalked away and reflected on his words. Even though he wasn't here, he had guessed that, that is what she did. She was going to do anything she could to become better, if not for herself, if not for her brother, she will do it just to prove him wrong. She will do it so that Jai Walia would never break any other girl's heart so easily.

Bani went onto her next round of chemotherapy that afternoon with an entirely different attitude, the attitude wasn't just to try another method but the attitude was to fight for her life, a life that meant more to her now then it did ever before.
