Esha Deol,Karan Kundra,Vijender replace Raghu, Rajiv as Roadies judges

Raghu, Rajiv out, Esha Deol joins Roadies as judge Raghu Ram and Rajiv Laxman, the duo synonymous with reality show Roadies, have been ousted. And Esha Deol is making her TV debut with the show, as one of its judges.


Rannvijay will continue as the host in the upcoming season of the show. Says a channel source, "Raghu's anger management issues and mood swings caused trouble for everyone on the shoot, leading the channel to take this step." About Esha, a source associated with the show said, "She has a no-nonsense image and doesn't get carried away with emotions. She fits the bill perfectly."

Vijender Singh to judge Roadies

Saloni Bhatia,TNN | Nov 20, 2014, 12.00 AM IST Boxer Vijender Singh and TV actor Karan Kundra will be joining Esha Deol and Rannvijay Singh for the upcoming season of Roadies.

According to sources, Singh and Kundra will be the judges of the show along with Esha, and will be seen testing the contestants. According to sources, "This time, the show will see major changes and the look of the show will be completely revamped. The channel wants to introduce major changes in the format of the show, hence the change in judges too. Rannvijay will be hosting the show, but instead of Raghu Ram and Rajiv Laxman, Vijender, Karan and Esha will be judging the show.

Vijender has been seen as a celebrity guest on the show before and has even attended the show's auditions in Delhi. Karan is already doing another show on the channel, Fanaah Season 2 - An Impossible Love Story, and has become one of the faces of the channel."

Sources close to Vijender confirmed the development and revealed that he is quite excited to be a part of the judging panel. The boxer, however, chose not to comment on the news. Gulshan's and Irrfan's were not that bad. I think, the tasks need to be interesting. I feel, that Seven Sins season with Irrfan was the best, task-wise. And Gulshan's one was the most entertaining season after Shambhavi/Nihal's one.

Anyhow, Esha Deol is a bad replacement.

Season 7 was totally without Raghu and Rajeev. That one was directed by Bumpy and Aashish. Season 4.. Yeah, Raghu was there during auditions, but he was not dictating/giving tasks to the contestants. Gulshan used to come with his "Bad Man" tasks. 😆
