Getting ready for Arpita Khan's big fat Indian wedding.

Salman Khan's lil sis Arpita will marry Ayush Sharma in a lavish wedding ceremony in Hyderabad today. It will be attended by the who's who of the film industry.

Here's looking at pictures leading up to the big event:

Arpita Khan

Arpita's mehendi ceremony was held at her residence at Galaxy apartment on Sunday afternoon.

Amrita Arora and Arpita Khan

The sangeet ceremony was held later in the evening. Among those invited was close pal Amrita Arora.

Shah Rukh Khan, Arpita and Salman Khan

Shah Rukh Khan was also invited, and posed for a picture with the bride-to-be and her superstar brother.

The 'real' women

'Now that's what you call real women! Mom, Aunty Salma, Aunty Kiran and Aunty Helen!' Amrita Arora tweeted.

Salman invites Narendra Modi

Salman and his sister Alvira personally invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the wedding.

Anil Sharma invites Pranab Mukherjee

Ayush's father Anil Sharma -- a Congress minister from Himachal Pradesh -- is seen here inviting President Pranab Mukhrjee.

Ayush and Arpita have been dating each other for reportedly over a year.

Squashing all the rumours, Katrina Kaif has reached Falaknuma Palace to attend Arpita's wedding.

Kaif, who is super excited with the wedding of Arpita to Aayush Sharma, has taken full responsibility to dress up the bride with her expertise. Reveals a source, "There is a separate room that has been booked for Arpita's dressing. Katrina Kaif along with Amrita Arora Ladak are giving tips and suggestions while Arpita wears her wedding outfit in the presence of the dress designers crew."

Apart Katrina Kaif's hair and make-up artist, Daniel Bauer is also present in the room to get her all set for her wedding appearance. Currently, the final dress rehearsals are on at the venue which is bustling with live music played by popular bands.

Meanwhile, the guests who are arriving for the mega do are being welcomed with the typical Hyderabad's deccani tehzeeb' (a custom followed by the locals), at the five star hotel.
