So, I have been watching this show on-off since it started and I always thought that Pakhi was an independent, mature women, someone who is very strong in her identity but the past couple of episodes have proven me completely wrong. What completely shocked me was Pakhi saying that if it wasn't for Ayaan, she would have died the day Anshuman died - everything about her life is so consumed with Anshuman's presence that she feels her life only revolves around him which is so completely wrong. And I was even more surprised by the fact that Pakhi - who has always had a rather liberal outlook to life, blame Veer for something that he isn't at fault for.
I loved the contrast that they showed with Veer - about how he realizes that there is much more to life, people that love him, whom he loves as well - his family, his being alive means a whole lot more.
I hope that somewhere with this track, they show Paakhi finding her identity - before falling in love with Veer because it's just sad that she doesn't respect life and it's meaning.
As far as the whole JiJi using Ayaan to blackmail Paakhi track - not in favor of it at all. Love cannot be forced and although she is right in wanting Veer to not just be a mechanism to fulfill responsibilities for Ayaan and Pakhi, the method she is using to force Pakhi into submission is just not right.
