Hi everyone...wish I had found this place when the show was on! Here is a short exploration of Sarita's thoughts I wrote last year...let us all remember that delicious ViSa chemistry...uff 😊 😳
Deals with mature thoughts but nothing detailed! Hope you like it, let me know what you think 😃

She was nervous.
She reminded herself that the signs had been clear for weeks. It had all started that morning in the kitchen when he tucked in the end of her pallu, handling her with such breathtaking ease she almost forgot that they were still, in so many ways, strangers to each other. She could still remember the jolt she'd felt at that barest brush of his knuckles against her belly, a pulse of electricity that chased through her in an instant.
It had started with that. The casual, proprietary touches had only increased since then. A hand kept on her shoulder a few extra seconds, his fingertips raised to her cheek, an arm hooked around her waist. All these little signs - he had to be showing her he was ready.
His banter had changed, too. The unexpected compliments on her saris and her excellent taste. The insistent teasing about her blushes. Those long, silent eye locks!
Oh, it was clear what he wanted. And she wanted it, too. She found herself breathless with anticipation at odd times of the day, caught off guard by spontaneous flashes of what it would be like to kiss him, to touch him, to be covered by him.
She couldn't wait. But she was nervous.
What if she was misreading the signs? What, after all, did she know about sexual signals? Sure, she was no shy, innocent bride, unable to imagine an actively interested husband. She was a mature and confident woman, secure in her sense of self-worth and fully aware of her beauty. She was ready, in all possible ways. But she might still be wrong.
Ten years of waiting to be noticed could not simply be erased. Some part of her still worried that the other shoe would drop, and it would turn out that Vikrant, too, had some hidden reason for not being remotely interested in her. Nevermind the touches, the looks, the jokes...the achingly sweet card and all his awkward little courting gestures. It had all gone wrong for her before. It could all go wrong again.
And then there was the fact that he had been married before. Happily married, too. That witch Vandana had let fall that Vikrant and Abhi's mom had been trying for a second child when she died. Normally Sarita would not take anything Mummyji said too seriously, but there had been an ache of pain and loss in her voice that rang sincere.
It was clear that he had loved his wife - and wanted her, too.
And she was not so naive as to assume that his wife had been the only woman in his life. Mr. Suryavanshi could be as prim and proper as the best of them when it came to leading his public life, but she knew that there had been others, before Jhanvi. He had studied abroad after all - everyone knew that a man as rich and handsome as that did not come back without a few important experiences under his belt. And she could see that there had been others between her and Jhanvi, too. The acid looks some of the women in his circle had given her when they were introduced after the marriage spoke all too clearly of scorned bedmates.
Could she give him what he wanted? How could she begin to know how to satisfy him? And what would he expect? He knew that she and Raj had never even shared a bed. He must guess that she was untouched...that, at her advanced age, she was totally inexperienced. Would he be patient? Would he be careful?
Would he wait forever for her to make the first move out of some chivalrous sense of caution?
She wasn't sure about any of it, except that she knew she wanted him. She wanted him more with every day, with every lopsided smile and playful argument and companionable meal. She wanted him more every time she saw what a devoted father he was, and every time he showed her how willing he was to let her have a place in his son's life.
She wanted to stake her claim on him, too. She wanted to move ahead and finally be a wife in all ways.
But she was nervous. And she needed a plan.
