I'm here with my reviews! 😳 (Most of you would look up at me weirdly for giving such a positive review but seriously guys, I absolutely loved HNY!) ❤️

The movie had a predictable storyline. There was no suspense kind of thing and I was anyway not even expecting such scenes. Yeah, the continuous use of the 'kismat' dialogue in almost every scene started irritating me. 🤔

Coming to what I absolutely loved about the movie was of course its little comedy elements! 😆 There were some hilarious scenes like-

1. Tamy's romance with the locker 😆

2. How Charlie is shown as a kid when Tamy as a Santa Clause shows him the diamonds. 🤣 And their little proposal scene too. :P

3. Mohini's 7 minutes speech & Jag's reaction to it! 🤣 (And man, Sonu did look hot actually! :P)

4. Vivan aka Rohan was too cute & funny when he was like "Hello Mr. Vicky Grover, blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah...!" while describing his plan to Charlie. 😆

And OMG, how can I dare to forget Nandu & his 'snake dance'? 🤣 I think Abhishek did a complete justice to his character. 😃 The scene where he starts undressing himself is just WAY TO HILARIOUS! 🤣🤣 Also, where he and Jag were putting on the burqa! 😆

What to say about Deepika! She was breathtakingly beautiful in WDC Finale ❤️ "Eejjee nai hai Mohini ka dance!" 😆 And "Naam bhi englis hai.." 😆 Last but not the least, SRK! I always run short of words for him... 😛 Infact, I'll just say that Mohini was right- "Jee chahta hai ki kha jaaun!" ☺️ ❤️

I think music was the best element of this movie, it surprised me alot. 😳 Especially Indiawaale... <3 God, the goosebumps I got during that song! 😎

My Rating for HNY- 4/5 (I know this is surprising but I can't help myself to give 4 starts as it was a complete entertainment package for me! 😳)

Happy New Year vs Dhoom 3 vs Kick vs Bang Bang: 2 Days Box office

Happy New Year has collected Rs 78 crore in its first 2 days at the box office, which is by far the biggest total for any film ever released. Shahrukh Khan now has two films in the Top 5, as his last release Chennai Express also averaged more than 30 crore in 2 days.

Dhoom 3s record looked out of reach when it went on a record-breaking spree last year, but Happy New Year has comprehensively beaten the film in its first 2 days.

On Sunday, business of Happy New Year has picked up all over giving the film a good chance of not only crossing the 100 crore mark in 3 days, but also to challenge the lifetime business of Dhoom 3. For that, the SRK starrer has to sustain well Monday onwards.

Kick, Singham Returns and Bang Bang collected Rs 53.67 cr, Rs 53.14 cr and Rs 51.62 cr respectively.

We have compared 10 films from 2013 and 2014 in the table below.

Note: The 2nd day collections of Happy New Year are our figures. Yash Raj Films or Red Chillies Entertainment are yet to officially announce Saturday collections.
