Part 41

Dev looked around the room, "what am I doing here still, I will go away from here, but can I, will I be able to" He thought as he slowly stood up, his body pained like hell, but his heart pained more, "I, worship him, he is my everything, my lord, my soul, my life, my world" Geet voice rang in his mind, "You have an family now, remember" Maan's trust worth words killed his soul, "you are also like Maan to me," Dadi maa's words gave even more pain, his tears ran up as he stood up,

He started walking slowly, bearing the pain holding the wall; he climbed slowly stepping up at the stairs leading to the terrace and felt the fresh air and shinning sun heat up on his skin as he reached up, it gave him energy, Dev looked above the open sky and smiled to himself, "it will create more problem but Mr.Khurana will take care, I know, but I can't take this anymore," Dev thought as he closed his eyes and started walking towards the edge, ready for the jump, as Dev went a few steps, he stepped on something and trembled up,

Before Dev could Hit the floor, he was held by an strong arms and Dev opened his eyes and looked up, the sun made his vision blur, he shook up his head as he was pulled up straight and it was Maan before him holding him, "Dev, what the hell are you doing, if I didn't stop you, you would have been fallen dead" Maan yelled up, and Dev looked down avoiding Maan's angry eyes, "oh, actually I thought to get some fresh air, but got dizzy and so," Dev said still looking down, "Dev, you are an doctor and you must know, how to take care of yourself right,"

Maan then held Dev's hand and walked him down, as they were entering the bedroom, Maan saw Geet coming into the house with an tray, "Geet" Maan called and she came up rushing, "What is this Geet, you said Dev is your friend, and is this how you take care of your friend" Maan asked and said what happened, "Baba ji, why Dev, if you need to go out, you could have said me na, I would have taken you" Geet said, "It's ok Geet, please Mr.Khurana, I will be careful from the next time" Dev said,

"You better be," Maan yelled up, "and if you need to go out for an walk, Geet will take you, after all she is your friend right" Maan said and Dev's heart pained up seeing Maan's trust on him, and seeing Geet's big smile, he felt like killing himself now even, Dev then went inside leaving Maan and Geet alone, "Geet" Maan called her, and she looked at him with a smile, "I came to take an file here, and to inform you that I will be a bit late tonight and will have my dinner with my clients, so you guys don't wait for me" Maan said and Geet nodded an ok,

"But" Maan said as he slowly slide his hand around her waist and pulled her close to him, "You better wait for me, remember we have some unfinished business," Maan said as he looked at her lips making Geet blush up, and Geet nodded an ok, Maan then quickly pricked her lips, "Love you Geet" he said and went away and Geet stood there blushing up, and nodded her head smiling big and went to Dev's room,

It turned night, Dadi maa was arranging the food along with Geet, "Dadi maa, Maan said he will have his dinner with clients today, and not to wait for him and so I will go and give dinner to Dev and come" Geet said and Dadi maa nodded and turned around, "Dev" she said and Geet looked behind to see Dev walking towards them slowly, "Dev" Geet rushed to him and held his hand supporting him, "Geet, I am ok" he said, "Dev, afternoon only I told you, if you need to come out call me, and not too walk alone" Geet said,

Dev looked at her big shinny eyes and her true concern, her truth and kindness made him to fall into her eyes, "Geet, I am a Doctor, I know what I am doing" Dev said and Dadi maa looked at them walking up and she pulled the chair a bit for Dev to sit, "How are you Dadi maa, had your medicines" Dev asked and Dadi maa smiled up, "looks like you are one, who needs to be take care of Dev" she said and kept the soup bowl before him and Dev took the spoon on his left hand before Geet takes it,

Geet let him have the soup and sat down with Dadi maa and had dinner, the dinner time went off soon and Dev said an Good night, and started to leave, "Dadi maa, I will walk him in the outhouse and come" Geet said, "No need Geet, I will go" Dev refused, "Dadi maa, call Maan now and tell him Dev is not at all listening to me" Geet said with her childish expression, "my pleasure Geet" Dadi maa too said, "Dadi maa, please, ok Geet, you can come with me" Dev said and Geet smiled big, and walked him out,

"Geet is so much comfortable and Happy with Dev, and Dev is too an nice guys, doesn't have any family too, both of them are kind hearted and sweet, why didn't I think this before, Dev would be perfect for Geet, and after Marriage, will ask Dev to be here even, so both of them will be before my eyes even, will talk about this to Maan, tonight even" Dadi maa thought, "Hope Maan too gets an girl like her and settle up, will speak about that too" Dadi maa thought and prayed and went away,

Maan came late at night and found Geet on sofa, waiting for him, but sleeping up, Maan smiled at his sleeping beauty, she was looking beautiful, in her pink dress, taking Maan's breath away with her beauty and charm and Maan went towards her and kneed down near her face and looked at her cute face and kissed slightly on her cheeks, Geet opened her eyes slowly to see Maan smiling at her, "You came," Geet asked as she got up and Maan too stood up, "Sorry Geet, I should have called you, it's too late right, sorry for making you wait" Maan said as he held her face inside his hands,

Geet held his hand tightly "I love waiting for you," Geet said blushing up and smiling big, "Crazy you are Geet" Maan said and Geet smiled big, "and I love this craziness", Maan said, "Geet, I will go and refresh and come, you wait for me, in your room" Maan said and Geet nodded up, "Geet, one more thing" Maan said as she held her waist, "Maan" Geet freaked out, "You are looking too beautiful, so you can't blame me if I lose my control today" Maan whispered in his husky voice, Geet blushed up and pulled away from Maan and ran towards her room ,

Maan too walked behind her and went inside his room, straight inside his washroom and bathed and refreshed him and came to his room wearing his towel and then he started changing up, while his was wearing his shirt, he saw an shadow behind her, "Oops, looks like I took a bit long, she herself came up" Maan thought and turned around and got shocked to see Dadi maa there, "Dadi maa, you, at this time, didn't sleep yet" Maan asked suddenly worried, "Maan I need to talk with you" Dadi maa said and Maan looked at her puzzled,

"What is it Dadi maa, and is it so important at you can't even wait till tomorrow morning" Maan asked seriously now, "oh, I need to talk about the marriage" she started, "Dadi maa, please, I told you right, I need some time, I can't marry anyone now" Maan said, "Maan listen to me first" Dadi maa said, "no Dadi maa, you listen to me first," Maan stopped her, "Marriage, engagement, all this gives me creeps, it only pulls my past before me," Maan said, "But Maan" Dadi maa started, "I know, Look Dadi maa, I am not telling you I will not marry anyone, I will definitely get married but I just need some time, please" Maan said,

Geet was waiting for Maan, for a long time and got worried as he didn't come yet and decided to look for herself and walked towards his room, as Geet went near the room, she stood shocked as she saw Dadi maa there, "Dadi maa, I don't want to get married, understand, I don't want to get married atleast" Maan stopped up as he saw Geet standing there looking at him puzzled and confused, Maan's heart started beating high as he doesn't know what she heard or what if she got any negative thoughts,

Maan stared at her and Geet just rushed away, "God Damn" Maan too rushed away, leaving Dadi Maa there even, Geet rushed up to the open hall and went and sat there in an swing there, she felt confused, pained, "I don't want to Get married" Maan's voice echoed up, "he doesn't want to marry me, but he says he is in love with me and that's true too, then why, he said like that, May be he thinks I am not fit to be his wife," Geet thought and suddenly looked up to see Maan come up, towards her,

Maan slowly went and bend down towards her and Geet looked at him still puzzled, "I guess, you heard" Maan asked and Geet nodded a yes, "what did you hear," Maan asked as he held the strings on each side and leaned over her, Geet's eyes filled up even too say it but she calmed herself, "That you don't want to get married" Geet said in her shaking voice, Maan took an Deep breathe and "Geet, actually" Maan started, "It's ok, you no need to explain, I understand, I am not sad, I have your love, that's enough for me, I will not compel you" Geet said slowly but her heart was bleeding up,

Maan stared at her, her love surprised him, "you just need my love and not me" Maan said leaning close and Geet looked at him with her golden eyes with the liquid dancing inside it, "Geet, I don't know about you, but I need you totally, your love and also you" Maan said and held her hand and pulled her up, walked her up, "Geet, look at that" Maan said as he pointing up and Geet looked at what he was pointing out, "what is it" Maan asked, "Moon" she said, "and how many moon's are there" Maan asked again, "One" Geet said, "can there be another" Maan asked and Geet looked at Maan puzzled who was still looking at the moon, "No," Geet said, "Right, this earth has only one moon, the Moon belongs only to this earth and the earth belongs only to that Moon"

"We are too like that only Geet" Maan said as he looked at her, this Maan, belongs only to you and you belong only to me," Maan said and held her hand, "Geet, I will marry you, trust me" Maan said as he held her hand softly in his hand, "I belong only to you Geet, by heart and soul, my love and life, it's only yours" Maan's voice was melting Geet from inside out, her happiness was screaming silently in her eyes, "even if you leave me, I will live only for you" Maan said slowly, "This is Maan Singh Khurana's Promise, I refused for marriage as needed some time, but now Geet, after hearing you say that you were even ready to stay and live only with my love, I can't do this to you, taking your rights"

"Maan" Geet started, "No Geet, I will tell you everything tomorrow, I was keeping it away from you, in the fear of losing you actually, but now I am sure, you will never leave me, you will understand me," Maan said confusing Geet but she didn't want to ask anything further, "Time to Sleep" Maan said and before Geet could turn around, Maan scooped her in his arms, Geet can see an different emotion in Maan's eyes as he carried her up, an confusing and puzzled gaze, his confident and bold look was missing along with his naughtiness, there was an shadow of sadness which Geet can't bear,

Maan walked towards Geet's room, and laid her on her bed, Maan then slowly pulled her dupatta from her and kept it aside and took the blanket and covered her up and turned off the main light, leaving the bedroom lamp to light up, "Good Night Geet" Maan said, but his voice was so low, so as his smile and as he turned around, Geet held his hand by wrist and Maan looked at her, Geet got up and pulled Maan and made him to sit on the bed, and Maan looked at her puzzled, Geet smiled big and caressed his cheek slowly, making him shiver up and pull his heat up,

Before Maan could react Geet hover up and pressed her lips on his, making his shocked and surprised, she didn't do anything, but just pressed her lips on to his and stayed still, Maan felt her soft lips on his hard and hot lips and his each cells felt an electric shock, Maan started to breathe high as his desires were taking him over, he felt Geet's hand caressing his hair from behind, making him moan and as he couldn't control anymore, He opened her mouth and took her lips and started kissing her madly, his sudden hungry made him wild as he bite her lips with all lust and love,

Geet's heart started to beat high, and she let her desire rule her now, pressing down her shamefulness, Maan hovered on her and pushed her on to the bed, making her lay under him, crushing her with his strong body, Maan felt her softness underneath him, pressing him hard, which was making him go crazy with the thought, he still didn't button his shirt as he can feel the works in her suit pinning his skin, but the slight pain made him even more wild,

Maan after a long time, pulled from Geet and looked at her, who was breathing heavily with her eyes closed, Maan's sense came back and he stared at her with his deep dark look, Geet slowly opened her eyes and looked at him, "why did you do this Geet" Maan asked as he shifted his body on to the bed but still his face was close to her face, "because you wanted this but you forgot it, so" Geet said, Maan touched her cheek slowly, she again made him speechless with her love, "Geet, just promise me, you will never leave me, never" Maan asked and Geet hugged him up, "never, even if I die, my soul will rest only in you" Geet said,

Maan pulled her from the hold and kissed her all over her face and hugged her close to his heart, with a smile and they laid back and slept up in each others arms,

Sun shinned on to Geet's face and she awake up and looked at the clock which showed 10.30, "Baba ji" she said and jumped up from the bed, and thus she remember about Maan and she went and freshened up and went towards Maan's room, but found he was missing, Geet then saw an shadow on his study room and smiled and went towards it, but her smile vanished when she saw Rahul, "Rahul, where is Maan" Geet asked slowly, "Oh Madam ji, he is in the open gym upstairs, do you want me to call him" Rahul asked,

"No need, and what are you doing here" Geet asked, "Oh, cleaning up, Diwali is gonna come na, that why" He said, "ok, where is Dadi maa" Geet asked, "she went to meet her friend" he said, "ok, you go and help Nakul kaka, I will clean here" she said and Rahul paused up, "go," Geet urged and he nodded and went away, Geet smiled big and looked around and she her eyes struck on an cupboard which looked like it haven't been touched for a long time, as others looked clean and it was dusty even from outside,

Geet went and opened the cupboard and she saw the spider webs filling the space inside it, "Baba ji," she said and cleared it up and looked inside. To her shock, she saw couple of sherwani, brand new still in the cover so it was protected, and she saw jewel boxes and Geet took and opened it all, she saw the bridal jewels shining up, screaming untouched, Geet then saw an scroll like thing and she took the scroll and removed the golden thread and rolled it open and read it, her eyes filled up with shock, as it was an Marriage invitation,

Geet's eyes widen up as she saw the Groom's name, "MAAN SINGH KHURANA", it was engraved in it and she looked down the Bride's name, "NAINA TAGORE", Geet rolled the scroll up again and kept it inside and suddenly she pushed another cover as her hands were shivering up and an bunch of photos fall down from it, Geet took those photos and looked at it to find an beautiful girl photos, Geet was starring at the girl's photo blankly,

"That's Naina Tagore" Maan's voice came up and Geet turned around to see Maan standing there with his hand folded up against his chest,

What's wrong with dev?? Is there any motive behind entering maaneet's life??...may be he is related to naina...🤔...but its great to see that dev is a nice guy...I want him like that only ...😊

nice. what is with Dev? is he here with an motive? oh man Dadimaa trying to fix Geet and Dev together. I hope Maan finds out about it or Dadimaa find that Maan and Geet love each other. Finally Maan telling Geet about his past.

I have a request, can Maan confess his love 4 Geet before Dadi asap(before Dadi can tell about Geet & Dev's marriage). I can bear any other twist & turns, but not Geet & Dev's marriage! 😡
