"Don't think, just do it", said the melodic voice next to her.
Gathering up her courage and tampering down the bundle of nerves that floated within her, Khushi squinted down, a long way down, watching the blue waves toss against the cement piers.
"I don't know...", her voice trailed off.
Khushi turned to look into the familiar grey eyes that shone with mischief and wonder.
"I will if you will".
How many times had Khushi heard those words, moaning in protest Khushi rolled her eyes, "So not fair".
Laughter rang out as Khushi felt her hand being clasped tightly.
"It's what all good friendships are based on"
A small smile penetrated against the frown on Khushi's face, "You know that's blackmail".
"One..."
Once again Khushi's eyes connected with hazel, "Two..."
Khushi tried to reason as she felt her feet move forward, "You know your nuts".
"Three!"
A loud gasp left Khushi's lips as she jumped off the cliff, the feeling of floating as light as a feather ingulfed her, right before the piercing cold water swallowed her up, pushing her into a dark void of nothingness.
