16th July Update - Kaj-Yuv at their worst

Saras tells Savitri that they should tell bapuji the whole truth as there is no other way than that. Savitri agrees and takes Gauri from there and the three of them leave.

Menka is explaining to Baa that she agrees that Gauri has made a big mistake but the bigger mistake has been done by Saras. Kshitij hears this and gets irritated. Menka tells that Saras shud have told us the truth in the first place. Baa agrees with Menka, and tells that from the past few days the daughters in this family have been given too much freedom, and that's why this has been happening. Surya stands there speechless. Baa tells that today they have to be taught a lesson.

Just then Kajri runs in crying saying "mummyji..." she keeps crying when Menka asks her what's wrong. Yuv sees this and wonders "now what is she upto??" Hal and Phul see Pavi crying and tell to each other that Pavi's tears are going to bring a huge flood and destruction in this house. They stand there smiling. Baa asks Pavi what's wrong. Pavi tells that she heard gauri telling saras and savitri that she was following Pavi and reached the kotha. Menka and Surya are shocked hearing this. Pavi adds that gauri is blaming her now. She keeps crying bitterly. Yuv comes ahead and yells how can gauri blame his wife and he will not stand for such treatment of Pavi. Menka is quiet and is fuming at Gauri. Menka tells yes.. Pavi is being treated wrongly and she will not stand for it as well and that they have her support. They look at Surya, who is quiet.

Saras, Savitri and Gauri are walking towards the room. Pavi asks everyone.."why are all blaming me, first Bhavishya called me a kothewaali and now Gauri" Yuv tells that its becuz all are jealous of her simplicity and want to make her look small. Surya is standing there quietly listening to all this. Yuv asks Surya why is this happening to his wife. Kaj is standing there with fake tears. Menka also tells everyone about the incident that happend with the guy outside the factory site on the day of the pooja, and that Gauri was blaming Kaj there too. Yuv is shocked hearing that and so is Surya. Yuv is angry and yells enough is enough and that he will not bear this anymore and then he reminds everyone that once he had warned all that if anyone treated her like this he will leave the house and go and today the day is come for a decision. Baa agrees that "yes the decision will be taken. not about your leaving the house, but about the truth and the lies, the unneccessary freedom given to the girls in this house, and about their mistakes." Surya is still standing quietly.

Savitri, Gauri and Saras walk down the stairs to the main room and Savitri tells ..." Listen everyone, i don't know what you all must be thinking right now, but gauri has sumthing to say to everyone here." Surya nods and motions to go ahead. Gauri then takes the courage and says "Bapuji... " They show the entire convo in mute. She tells him the whole thing that happened. All look on. Surya looks at Menka. Yuv comes and yells at her. Gauri promises that she is saying the truth. Menka grabs her and shouts at her for lying. Savitri comes and supports Gauri that she is not lying. Menka and Savitri shout at each other in support of Kaj and Gauri. Saras stands there shocked listening to Menka not supporting Gauri. Surya is shocked hearing Menka saying that Gauri cud go there but not Kaj.

Gauri is crying.. Menka tells Gauri that she has to bring proof that Pavi had gone there. Gauri looks confused and quiet. Menka tells everyone that this proves that Gauri is lying... as it is very evident on her face. She then goes to Surya to speak up as the bahu of this house is being put to shame. She reminds him how he stood up for Pavi when Bhav said bad things abt her, and today he is not saying a word becuz today its Gauri, his own daughter who said it. Yuv also tells his dad to take a decision.

Savitri and saras tell Surya that Gauri is not lying. Baa tells him to take a decision. Yuv agrees that he shud take a decision, because his own decision is based on Surya's decision. Surya is at crossroads and confused and hurt as well.

Surya then announces that He believes his bahu completely. Savitri and the girls are shocked listening to it. He adds that Pavi is not at fault, but its Gauri's fault. Menka is satisfied and looks victorious.

Surya comes to Gauri and yells at her that how cud she blame Pavi like this that to labelling her a kothewaali. Savitri tries to explain but Surya stops her from talking. Gauri comes ahead and asks for forgiveness and tells that its her mistake and she thought someone else as Pavi. She stands there asking forgiveness from everyone. Saras and Savitri is shocked hearing this and feel sad for her. Hal and Phul tell that Gauri's mistake is a big one and she shud be punished severely for this.

Surya then tells "Gauri... never ever make such a mistake again". Menka adds that if ever she made such a mistake and blames Pavi for anything... she will pay for it. Savitri and Saras stand there not able to help Gauri in any way. Gauri crying runs to her room. Saras follows her. Surya stands there speechless. Episode ends.

My Comments:

After today's update it seems as if Surya has gone back to his same old mean self. But while watching the video, I didn't think Surya was insensitive. When he was scolding Gauri, he wasn't actually angry as he used to be, it was more like he had no other choice. On one hand he has his innocent daughter, whom he knows is innocent. And on the other hand he has a son who's threatening to leave the house.

He just did this so that Yuv didn't leave. But we can very well see that he's not fully convinced with Yuvraj's story, but he also does not have any proof against Kajri. When Hal-Phul insisted that he shud punish Gauri, the old Suryakant wud have punished her in a heartbeat. But all he said to Gauri was not to repeat this mistake again, and that too with tears in his eyes.

So basically, we have to wait and watch if Surya has believed Gauri for sure or not.
