Actor Nupur Alankar relented to a fond admirer who wished to spend a day with her on the sets
Actor Nupur Alankar aka Halki Bua of 'Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan' (Zee) got a surprise of sorts when a fan came up to her and said that she wanted to spend a day with her. Nupur says, "This lady — Kulwant Dhillon—stays in my relative's building.
Apparently, she had often seen me there. She wanted to speak to me but not knowing how I would react, she preferred to get in touch with me through my relative."
Nupur continues, "My relative spoke to me about Kulwant. She came to see me the next day and expressed her wish to spend a day with me. I wasn't comfortable really but I agreed because I didn't want to disappoint her. She looked very simple. After all, the good wishes of viewers matter to us."
Giving an account of her interaction with Kulwant, Nupur relates, "She seemed to be in awe of me. She was very excited at the idea of being with me and it showed. When we were on our way to the sets, she called up her family members and told them how happy she was. She behaved like a child. She said that even her son liked me."
Nupur continues further, "On reaching the sets, she was observing the sets and the costumes curiously. She kept observing me as I did my make-up. She got glamour struck. She even interacted with my co-stars and enjoyed taking pictures with everyone. She couldn't stop thanking me after that."
Feeling happy about complying with Kulwant's request, Nupur says, "I felt good about being able to fulfill her wish and make her happy."
