What made Ishu NOT 'love' Mani in the past?

CVs are kind of erring in their character portrayal every now and then.
Mani is being portrayed as the perfect man for any woman. Caring for family, very polite, caring about peoples' feelings etc..in general a calm composed and super nice person ..There might have been some aspect of his which made Ishu not fall in love with him in the past in a romantic sense ..
What could that have been?
I would really like that to be brought out ...Because as of now CVs are shadowing Raman's goodness with Mani's character portrayal ..I mean he seems to have all the good qualities that Raman has plus a lot more minus all the negatives that Raman has ...How are they going to justify Ishu falling in love with Raman then...just because he's her husband????
I wish they show some flaw in Mani because of which Ishu didn't fall in love with him in the past and can never in the present and future too! ..
Also, they are over doing Raman's negativity to highlight Mani's positivity ...Over screaming and argumentative ...that's now how Raman typically is! ..In the past he had a fuse ..now seems like he blows off immediately ..!! ..
Anyway ..I hope CVs show some reason why Ishu didn't love Mani in the past ..Why she chose Subbu over Mani etc...I hope they answer these qs ..otherwise it seems like Mani right now is the right match for Ishu ... :((

Just because she didn't fall in love with him doesn't mean there must be some flaw in him. A couple of my very best friends are guys and they're amazing guys, any girl would be lucky to be with them, but I just see them as my friends. Contrary to what a lot of popular media would have us believe, two people of the opposite sex can have a platonic friendship that doesn't always have to end with falling romantic love with the other person.

I agree with PreetD. A boy and girl can be close friends. And yes, it does happen sometimes that one is in love but the other does not feel the same / friends-zone. Actually, I too flirt and have boy friends flirt with me, while we are good friends and we both know nothing will and can happen. Just like saali-jiju style. Opposites attract.. Mani and Ishu are sort of the same in character.

Still, for fun, reasons why Ishu and Mani were / are not meant to be:

Mani knows everyyything, which clashes with Ishu. She is Miss know it all, how will she share this spot with him? In their home there would be a slogan / text on the wall: north south east west, Ishu knows better but Mani knows best.

Mani is very punctual. Ishu is always too late. Even in school she thought she was size XS instead of S and it took hours to get ready.. And imagine in adult life, Ishu would have emergencies during the evening / night and Mani would have a time schedule for dinner, small talk and love making... Well Mani would explode from anger and frustration.

Ishu does not like money and rich people too much. It seems Mani is richer than Raman, so obviously she will go for the 'poor' fellow 😆

They both take themselves too seriously - in a marriage you need one person who has ability to make fun of themselves - raman despite his temper is a man who can make fun of himself - remember this is different from ego, this is about just once in a while telling yourself - chadddh yaar! Not important! Neither mani or ishita let go easily that is not good for a marriage

As for the rest I agree I have loads of male friends who I was never attracted to, also timing is important!

There is a word "Perfect". There is lot of difference between more than enough and perfect.

HereI didn't give answer based on Mani character. in fact I hate to post about him.

there is a quote that
"Pure gold can't be chain. it needs some copper to get shape"

ideal isn't enough for marriage. it needs something apart from ideal that called as magic. we can give 1000 reason to marry an ideal person. but one blind reason is enough to reject him. same in opposite we can many reasons not to marry worst person but one blind reason enough to bind their relations. the reason is you strongly believes that opponent is perfect for you.

same here. Ishita chosen subbu over mani. it doesn't mean subbu is greater than Mani. For simple example, let if you're fan sehwag, it won't make sehwag greater than sachin but you're fan for sehwag though you clearly know about sachin superiority. Because you like sehwag style or something else...

We choose something because we likes nnot because of its superiority.

Because the CVs manufactured him two weeks ago would be my spontaneous answer.
But the "deep" answer would be she was created to fall in love with Raman Bhalla!
No lesser human being will do

A very valid question. N also what made Ishita not marry Mani after Subbu left her? They both cud have adopted a kid n had their happily ever after 😳

It wud have been better for Ishita to marry somebody like Mani who is tall handsome, rich, well educated, from her own caste, n also somebody who apparently knows n understands her (considering both r best friends).

Now its not necessary that she might have loved him but then it still wud have been worth the compromise, as it is she says that u dont need love to work a marriage out so now as she is comprimising sirf ruhi k liye, she cud have compromised Mani ke liye? 😕

Subbu was equally good and being their family relation she got involved with him.
