So true. Parents prefer believing an outsider rather than their own kids. That's why kids fear sharing their problems with their own parents. I feel it is very important for parents to really listen to and understand their kuds.

similarly now too many parents ignore what their children says at times

then later they face the consequences and regret and repent

You said right and look at the difference in the same situation, here Darpan told her mother what Ms. Shakun did and she didn't believe her but when Darpan told Ganesh he was ready to go and deal with her, Darpan shouldn't have stopped him, maybe she should've let him go and let him fix Ms. Shakun 😆.
