NEW DELHI: All central government employees have been asked to be present in their offices on October 2 to take cleanliness pledge as part of the Narendra Modi government's 'Clean India' campaign.

October 2, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, is otherwise a national holiday.

The employees will be administered 'Swachhata Shapath' (pledge of cleanliness) in government offices, public functions and events on October 2,

what the hell so their is no holiday ???????????

school colleges private sectors all closed

govt employees need to go office to clean (Not all by moral yes but not by practice)

not much of a problem even EID diwali christmas arnt national holiday there are only 3 national holidays in india

26th jan 15th aug and 2nd oct

5day weekend every1 dont need to watch in 1 day

saturday is a semi holiday and sunday is always a holiday u cnt ask anything more

iam not talking about weekend but full holiday by example will give you 25cr simi holiday will give you 20cr by example thats what iam saying with this decesion we will lose some crore even if its few but we will lose
