This might come as a surprise to you.. The answer is

"Toad" or precisely "Neville's Toad"..

Shocking right..! Ponder over it while I get the explaination..

Here is the answer to my riddle..😊

ANSWER: Toad or Neville's toad

Found in magical

Toads are found in the wizarding world

But not one at all

They are ordinary non-magical creatures

Still useful

Toads are useful to perform spells on or test potions on

when in need for all

Professor Flitwick made Neville's toad fly around to demonstrate the levitation charm and was also subject to a Shrinking Solution in Potions

Always a word of threaten

People have threatened to turn those who don't practice into toads
