"If It's All I Can Take, I'll Remember It All"
~ Ch. 1 ~
As Suresh was preparing for Monday's lecture, he was interrupted by an abrupt sound of a door swooshing open. He turned around and saw her.
"Bulbul".
Suresh gazed at her in awe.
Bulbul's glistening eyes, stared back at him, noticing the way he was looking at her. She inhaled & exhaled, saying his name.
"Suresh"
"What's wrong Bulbul?", he asked approaching her.
She didn't know where to start with explaining why she was feeling so down in the dumps.
Suresh reached out a little but then pulled his hands back, being unsure as to whether she would mind him touching her.
"Could you.. "
"Yes, Bulbul"
"Hold me."
Suresh took her into his arms. She wrapped her arms around him. This is what she wanted. - to feel warmth. She looked up at him & felt his touch against cheek, wiping a tear.
She didn't fully understand what had come over her. She looked up at him and her hands moved from his back to the collar of his shirt.
Suresh didn't know what to do. He was already feeling overwhelmed with being in such close contact with her. He bent his head down, feeling the tightening of her grip on his collar and their noses touched.
Is now the time to be hesitant, Suresh thought... No.
He placed his hands on her cheeks and kissed her, laying a gentle kiss on hers lips. He then wrapped his arms around her. She then pressed her lips against his and they kissed.
Now it wasn't just warmth that she was feeling but fire between their bodies. She started unbuttoning his shirt.
"Bulbul..."
"What?"
They stared intently at eachother.
Suresh moved a piece of her hair out if away from face and caressed her cheek, feeling her warm breath against his wrist. He placed his other hand on her waist and pulled her toward him.
They kissed passionately and moved to the bed, still kissing & then fell onto it.
They felt weights slipping off of them and then became one, Bulbul grasped the sheets, her other hand running her fingers through his disheveled hair. As they made love Suresh noticed notice a tear roll down Bulbul cheek. Suresh sat up, covering himself with the blanket
"Sorry, this is my first time..."
"Sshh, Suresh, I'm... I'm alright."
She got up and caressed his cheek and the side of his upper lip where his mustache once was.
"Ok... Well.. I saw a tear roll down your face and..
"And..."
Suresh didn't really know what to make of this situation. What did that tear mean, he thought. Was it a tear out of joy but before he could asked her this question, Bulbul came closer to him, so close that their noses touched ever so slightly.
She kissed him and layed on top him, her head resting against his bare chest.
"I can't believe we... Got this close."
Bulbul chuckled softly, thinking the same thing.
Bulbul looked up at him and they shared another kiss and became one again.

While Suresh slept Bulbul held onto him, not knowing if life was playing a cruel trick on her. Just a few days ago Suresh had handed her divorce papers due to her not being too happy about this marriage and her wanting to leave it.
"I should have known better", she whispered. A few tears rolled down her cheeks, as she thought that them making love to each other just didn't seem right at this point in time but it happened. She was being impulsive and he gave in.
She held onto him a bit more tightly, kissing his forehead and then his eyelid, choking back tears.
Hello fellow KBianns!!! This is edabella here & I decided to focus on KB in the future. In fact most of this ff takes place after this scene. I thought I'd do something different w/this ff & have the very first scene of it be a quite heated & passionate one. This ff will focus on other characters as well.
