Maan was hell confused with all this , nothing was coming in his mind , he was staring at that side with open mouth ,, few min passed in that haze ,, Geet was busy inside d room to calm d yelping baby ,, who was quiet now but Geet's soothing words wr floating in d air ,, then she came out from d room having a baby in her arms ,, Maan was gaping at them ,, Geet sat in her chair having d baby on her lap ,, she was still busy in baby ,, Maan hardly uttered .

Maan: Geet ,,, ye baby !!!

Geet registered his words nd looked at him with a fake smile nd noded her head .

Geet: yeah , meet my baby , my son .. Manu.

Maan : ur baby ? he's ur baby ?

Geet: maine shayad wahi kaha hei ,, my baby .

Maan was still in confusion ,, his eyes wr roaming at Geet nd baby turn by turn nd now d baby was also looking at him ,, he was still sobbing clutching Geet's dupatta in his fist .. Manu ,, no doubt he was a very cute baby with lil brown curly hair , fair nd bright black eyes ,, d kid looked back to Geet nd she smiled at him.

Geet: say hello to him baby,, he's Maan uncle , u saw him in pics .

Manu: h e l l o nd extended his small hand for a shake with a sniff.

Maan took that soft hand in his lovingly nd said hello in return with a smile.

Maan: what's ur name baby ?

Manu: I m manu ( he replied slowly in his American accent )

Maan: sweet name , why wr u crying ?

Manu: I fell down ,, mommy , ( he sobbed again remembering his fall nd hurt placing his small hand on his head)

Geet: Oh ,, baby , it's fine now ,, ( she rubbed d place nd kissed there ) ,, u wanna eat something ?

He didn't reply nd looked at Maan ,, Geet tried to sit him on other chair but he denied nd clung to her more ,, Geet made him sit properly in d lap .

Geet: OK , fine ,, now my baby ate his meal ,, Mr Khurana plzz have urs ,, i'm sorry for disturbance .

Maan: no it's OK ,, i'm all most done ,, his eyes wr fixed on kid .

Geet fed baby nd had her too ,, kiddu was quiet now nd when he was done Geet made him sit on d other chair saying .. i'm bringing ur sweet dish , sit quietly.

He sat nd looking at Maan nd then gave a sweet smile ,, Maan smiled in return nd was surprised that d kid was quiet normal in d presence of a stranger ,, Geet came with d sweet dish nd placed on d table ,, she served in bowls nd gave Maan nd then to kid whose face lit seeing d yummy choco mousse in front of him .

Manu: ye e e,, cho co moos ,, mommy fol me ?

Geet: yeah baby , for u nd uncle ,, come ,have ,, plzz Mr Khurana have urs.

She sat on chair nd fed d kid who was over joyed seeing his fav dish ,, Maan too liked d mousse ,, after all that was his fav too ,, after d delicious dinner Geet got up nd placed all things back in kitchen nd crockery in dishwasher to clean them ,, Maan nd d kid was still sitting there in dining area nd watching her ,, Geet too was giving looks to d kid now nd then nd telling him to sit carefully while placing d thinks at their places ,, with in 10 min she was back nd lift d kid in her arms who wrapped small arms around her neck .

Geet: aaeye wahan baithy hei ,, aapko late to nahi ho raha ? coffee kuch der ruk ker letey hein.

Maan: No , i'm fine .

All came in sitting area nd settled in d sofa ,, Geet settled d kid on d sofa saying ,, sit here baby , i'm bringing ur toys .

Manu: no mommy ,, cal ( car)

Geet: fine , car.

She went in nd kiddu looked at Maan nd passed d smile ,, now Maan cdn't stop himself , he got up nd sat near d kid with a smile ,, he touched his head nd asked.

Maan: is it paining u ?

Manu nodded in a yes with a sad face nd touched his head again ,, he replied slowly.

Manu: that flool hit me heal .( he gestured with his hand towards d room )

Maan: aww,, dirty floor , we'll hit that back ,, OK .

Manu: mommy hit .

Maan: OK , mommy 'll hit .( he loved his quiet replies in cute tone ,, he knew that d kid was born here , living with Mexican family so got d American accent even now Geet's accent was like that )

Geet came back with his small mettle car nd handed that to him .

Manu came down from sofa nd sat on carpet , started to run that car by hand voicing .. zooommm,,,,zooommm ,,, he got busy in his play ,, Geet settled on d single sofa with a smile ,, Maan looked at her curious ,, he was dying to ask her about d kid.
