Something in your post I couldn't help but reply to because you said "TBH how many people apologize to their family after hurting them. I don't know how many other people do this, but my parents have taught me and my siblings to apologize if we are the wrong ones and I have seen a lot of people do this. I have grown up in such an environment.
So I just wanted to put forward my point of disagreement.
Aahil doesn't apologize because of the way he has been raised and his ego. People like Rehaan would have no problem.
Agreed. The way we thought it would play out in SBS thankfully it did't play out that way.
What happened was necessary and fine and understandable within the story. There needs to be conflicts and issues. But there should be a limit to how they are portrayed. I don't need the characters to be right all the time. Here, Aahil while understandable, is wrong.
I would even say Rehan too was wrong in a way, though understandable. The difference though is that Rehan didn't act with an intent to hurt or lash out. While Aahil did. Both displayed human emotions.
Aahil does need to acknowledge what he's done to Sanam and show some kind of remorse not just to himself but to HER as well.
Yes, family do let things go. But they also apologize when needed.
Edit.
I will just link to my follow up post here. Just in case this post somehow resurfaces. If so, then best to link to the one I made after the episode aired.
