What a disappointment. After making us wait and salivate with bated breath over the weekend and letting our imaginations tun wild, we were treated to a mere 2 minute scene of Ashlok. NOT FAIR, NOT AT ALL. WE ARE CHEATED. NOW WE ONLY HAVE OUR IMAGINATION FOR COMPANY.😭😭😭 😭
So saying, they did begin where they left off on Sat, and we were gaping at the screen, given half a chance and if it were possible at all would have dived right into it to see what was happening on the other side. They STARTED WITH FIREWORKS, IS THAT AN INDICATION OF THE FIREWORKS BETN AHSLOK. If they did do it, then they saw the stars and the moon and fireworks exploded for AAstha and Shlok who was so primed and ready to ...(fill in the blank here gals) THAT BEING THE CASE IT WAS A CASE OF THE QUICKEST QUICKIE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. HEY, NO ONE MENTIONED THAT THE TOP BUTTON OF SHLOKIE BEAR'S KURTA WAS UNBUTTONED. AGAIN SPECULATING MADLY, DID THEY OR DID THEY NOT DO IT??????? I for one would like to think NO, but knowing Shlok and the state of constant arousal for the last few days, I doubt that he was able to control himself. 😳😳😳
The bed scene was a let down and his dialogues were delivered with less intensity or passion. not going to analyze it too much. enough has been done and said about this. The one by the door, now that is what we want to see. iT was intense, passionate, scorching and blew my socks away( If I was wearing any that is). Aastha was perfect here as the desperate to get away biwi from the clutches of her pathidev and Shlok also shone here. This was a bang up job by them. Aastha pleading with her pathidev to let her off and then Sita coming to call them was a bit too much for her to take. After all their reputation was at stake here and hence the bite on pathidev's MOUNT OF VENUS, WHICH IS INDICATIVE OF A PERSON'S PASSIONATE SIDE.THE MORE PLUMPER IT IS, THE MORE AMOROUS AND SENSUAL ONE IS. Shlok's holding her arm and then her cheek was very fervent and steamy, made even more hot by the impassioned look in his eyes. After she bit him and made good her escape, his smile and the look on his face was that of a satisfied male, who like things a bit rough. Fifty shades anyone??????? Seeing him suck at his hand made me weak kneed. Avinash looked so sexy here...❤️❤️❤️
The rest of the episode was full of the wedding rituals and Renuka tried to make a scene. After all what is a wedding without some drama????? All Indian wedding have to have some drama, reel or real and it was not lacking in that aspect.
The two love birds are playing the eye games and can' help it. But again their looks and games were sacrificed in the larger interests of Josid marriage. Why do you edit out all the fun and good stuff. We see so much more in the off screen and on location videos than we see in the actual episode. I feel like ranting on this topic for now but will contain myself.
The groom is duly welcomed and then Anjali tells Aastha and Mansi to escort the bride to the mandap. Poor Sojal, her jaw was hanging open and a whole swarm of flies could have flown in. She was being overlooked again by Anjali and let us see what happens when the Varad - Mansi affair is exposed. Mansi seems to have got the hint that Ashlok did some hanky panky and also noticed that they were late in welcoming the groom. Who else noticed besides Anjali and Mansi??????
Ria, I am getting fed up of her. I can see that her track is going to go the Aditi way. We are all already sick and tired of her and her stupidity. Love is blind but this blind???? God, girl needs a good shake and some sense knocked into her. She is going to be heartbroken when she sees Ashlok together as man and wife or when their relation dawns on her. Hope there is not much of a hue and cry over this, can't bear to see it. The whole thing is dragged and she is away washing out the juice stain when Ashlok do the kanyadaan.
NA was happy to be rid of Jyoti and had a big fat smile when the panditji was explaining the significance of the THAALI OR MANGALSUTRA. IT IS NOT JUST A JEWEL MERELY FOR ADORNMENT BUT IT IS ONE'S IDENTITY, PROTECTION AND ABHIMAAN. Mansi is listening to all this and exchanges a look with Varad. Soon she is going to want the official recognition as a wife instead of a gf tag. Sojal again blurting out what is in her mind without a care to the feelings of others is again reprimanded by Varad who asks her to keep quiet ebp. This marriage is on the rocks and has crashed and burned, past it sell by date. Next step Divorce for Varad??????That will make things more absorbing.
NA asks both his sons to make arrangements for Jyoti's bidaai. Renuka tries to fob off Anaya on the Agnihotris for 2 days and makes her stance on Josid marriage very clear to Anjali. Sid comes to their rescue and bears Anaya in his arms and says that she is his daughter and will go with him home and he does not care for what relatives will think or say. Sid is truly a selfless person who has a big heart to accept Anaya as his. she is his in every way that counts. All Abhay gave was the seed, but the nourishing and the life giver was Sid. This was indeed a very nice scene. IT DESERVES MY WAH WAH TAALIYAN OF THE DAY. 👏👏👏
HUGS, TEARS, MOIST EYES WERE ALL PRESENT AT THE BIDAAI. sojal too shed some tears, real or crocodile, dunno, but they were there all the same. In the end a HUG AND SOME EMO BONDING BETWEEN AASTHA AND ANJALI WAS CUTE. ANJALI THANKING AASTHA FOR MAKING HER JYOTI HAPPY. Abhay is out for good, looks like. The divorce is also through, wish the CV's had made this very clear for us viewers as we are assuming it is a done deal or Jyoti will face problems in her married life as a bigamist. God, I hope this is not the case. 😲
Will end on a positive note, ALL IS WELL THAT ENDS WELL. JOSID MARRIAGE WAS A GRAND AFFAIR. WE GOT SOME RIVETING SCENES OF ASHLOK'S STRANGER GAME. NEVER HAVE WE GOTTEN TO SEE THE ENTIRE CAST DECKED UP TO THE NINES IN SUCH FINERY. THE RITUALS WERE ALL ENGAGING AND GRIPPING. THANK YOU FOR GIVING US THESE WONDERFUL VISUALS. ⭐️ A VERITABLE FEAST FOR THE EYES. 👏👏👏

A few quick points that I missed.Sojal looking askance at Mansi when she hands over the gift to Jyoti. Why does she have a problem with it??? Gifts not accepted at Agnihotri functions or what. In all earlier celebrations, we have seen gifts being piled up on a table, including Ashlok's wedding where Jaya steals a few.
Also, Mansi was shown looking at Kavya when the wedding was going on. She wants a husband and kids, looks like a family of her own. She looked so wistfully at Kavya. I think she is realizing what she has been missing all along.The mangalsutra had different connotations for each member of the A parivar. For anjali, it is as good as a noose, for sojal it is merely an adornment and for Aastha it is her identity, protection and abhimaan(pride and sentiment), all 3 as stated by the pandit.
At the end, during the bidaai scene, when ria passes Shlok, the focus is on the brooch ebp. what's with the brooch?? Tell us or clarify. don't leave us in suspense ebp. it is getting too much now,with ria, the brooch, the dvd...
