Sources say that Iqbal Khan has put in his papers and given one month's notice to the makers of Tumhari Paakhi due to some creative issues! Recently, Iqbal's character Anshuman was killed and his lookalike Aryamaan introduced in the serial. However, the track, according to sources, did not do that well and Iqbal started rethinking about being a part of the show.

The makers are planning to bring another twist to the story with Varun Badola. He will play a lawyer who helps get Aryamaan out of jail. As the story progresses there will be a love angle between Varun's character and Paakhi (Shraddha Arya).

Speculation is rife that Iqbal is unhappy with a parallel lead being introduced. However, a source from the unit denies it. "Iqbal is not insecure about any actor. He is only concerned with his role and the story. He is waiting for the makers to come back to him with the new storyline. Only if the story and his character are strong, will he continue. He will take a call on it soon," says the source.

Meanwhile, another actress will be introduced as Aryamaan's ex-girlfriend. Parakh Madan was almost finalised, but now the makers are said to be looking for a more popular face!

It's one thing that Anshumans character has been killed in TP but to justify Pakhi falling in love with someone else just is not acceptable. It's so against her character; a woman who waited 18 years for her husband and finally got his love and lost it - to have her fall in love with someone else does not fell right.

well making the main lead heroin fall in love in a quick mode mean after her husband die is not that good idea.. may b they can make a leap and then may b she can fall for him but now after her hubby died it looks strange that she may fall with other man !!

any ways ... for me to be honest its a good news that varun is back on tv screen after a month, he is very great actor and I wish him all the success with this show as well... i read few about this show but any ways ill watch it from his entry so i guess will know more about this show and its story as it progresses !!

to see from epi 1 .. well i dropped it then ... i like iqbal khan and i watched the 1st epi but was not impressed much that time.. kehte hay na 1st impression is last impression ... but yes.. heard from u all that the show is good so wishing every one all the best and wishing varun badola all the best and may this show viewers will love u as much we do or even more then we do !!!

I totally agree that it is totally not a good idea to make the female lead fall in love with another man right after her husbands death. And If the CV's have any sense they will not do this.
As a VB fan I am looking forward to seeing him in this show, but for now I hope that he is there as a support for her and if they do get married it will be a long enough gap for her to start to move on and not rush it.
I do wish the new phase of the show the best and also Mr. Iqbal Khan for his future.

I think right now only person they should replace urgently is the story writer . every week he/she bring childish twist and turn and killing the show !

hmm i can understand, shows start good and then the writers writing what ever comes in their heads

at times they do not hear what the actors got to say or what the viewers got to say .. they do what their minds say to them

let's see how varun's entry bring changes to this show and bring success to it as well.
