This round - going too fast?

VOI spent 6 weeks to find the line-up of 33 finalists, and now each week they are trimming down each group of 8-9 singers to 3 for the bemisaal 12.. I think this round is going too fast and we may not be giving appropriate time for some of the singers to showcase their talent...

Today there will be 4 eliminations from 7 singers and I think that will be a bit too much... I would have actually thought probably, they could eliminate 2 singers in each episode, and that would leave 4 singers in each group after 4 weeks...

After that, they should probably have regrouped the final 16 again to a different combination of 8 and 8 and then asked 2 more to go from each.. That would have been a real good strategy and would have given more time for the singers to prove themselves and tested against different kinds of contestants...

This is just going too fast for me!

May be... and blame it on II3 who have already started the public voting 😆

I think its the very same reason SRGMP have also condensed the Charavyuh round... They are eliminating 4 out 6 singers in each episode, that is a bit too much I guess!

But as far as VOI is concerned, I think its not fair on the contestants.. Chaitanya who got eliminated yesterday, may not have sung yesterday's song very well (overall, I think its a very flat song too) but I think he had a great voice and could have done much better in some other song.... And I am totally upset abt the fact that 4 singers will be asked to go today!!!

Good music needs to be enjoyed and appreciated over a longer time frame...

Oh no - I always fear public voting

We lost Sayantani yesterday after a great performance 😭 I really feel that we are losing the great singers too fast and there is no margin of slight error being provided....

We want to listen to these talented bunch of singers more before they eventually leave! 😕
