Rekha, saw EBP after almost 2 months. Agree with you about the bad fighting scene. But after a long time, liked Friday's episode because probably Shlok's character seemed a little bit like older self where he cared enough about Jyoti and was not that dumb the way he has been shown since the end of Aditi track. Also Astha was toned down and had less presence. Finally, Niranjan was not shown dumb the way he was being shown earlier but his plans were ruined because of foolishness of Abhay. The direction is quite bad these days. The fight sequence is an example of that. In previous show of Avinash, there were few fight scenes between his character and the negative character with whom he had great chemistry. The fight scenes used to be so good that we used to wish for more fight scenes between two characters. So I attribute this fight scene to bad direction and bad script. Even if they want to keep Abhay in the show, at least they should have shown a proper fight scene where a brother would beat the heck out of the guy who had tortured his sister for such a long time. No wonder this show is losing so many of its loyal audience.

i always viewed it as a love story. So that aspect is spoiled for me because he is shown as a really uncaring brother. I mean, its a different thing if he didn't pay attention as he was mourning his own loss of love(Swathi) and tending to his own wounds or when he thought of giving a second chance to Abhay because he begged during Kavya's birthday. I can even attribute his inaction during Anjali's birthday to confusion/shock at his baba's decision. But the recent events really put me off, when he decided to send Jyothi to Abhay even after knowing that there is threat to both the lives of jyothi and anaya. There is no differentiation between NA/Abhay and Shlok anymore, if he doesn't care whether his sister lives or dies. I watch the show for edgy romance and love story and definitely not for who is more abusive than who and who uses more tools of torture than who!

The main story currently, is still Aastha Vs Niranjan and that thought itself is really pathetic to me. And the stupid drama around Jyothi-Sid-Abhay doesn't really make sense to me. The whole thing is too lame. I got over this show actually and i'm hooked on to JDJ. its fun and i don't have to think much. i come to the forum to know what's happening in the show because i'm just used to it.

The entire Agnihotri clan was dumbed down (Varad, Vinayak, Anjali, Niranjan and of course Shlok) to glorify Astha and that ruined the show. I stopped liking the show when they showed Shlok as puppy and I stopped watching the show when they showed Varad and Shlok standing silent while Jyoti was being dragged by Abhay. Shlok's character is not such who would send his sister back with an abuser. Now even Abhay is smarter than Niranjan which does not make sense.

And I liked Friday's episode because for once NIranjan was not shown dumb. It was dumb Abhay who ruined his plans. And Shlok was at least shown somewhat smarter who went along with Jyoti to confront Abhay. Today it was back to Niranjan vs. Astha. But I liked Niranjan and Shlok scene because at least manipulation was shown in a better way than has been shown in last few weeks.

Abhay/Sid/Jyoti story is now the main story. Sid as a side character was intersting, but by making him a parallel lead, they have ruined the charm of his character. In any case, I always liked Anjali/Shlok, Shlok/Varad, Niranjan/Anjali and NIranjan/Shlok scenes the best. Astha/Shlok scenes stopped interesting me when they made Astha the manipulative character and Shlok the dumb puppet type. true

I have not watched JDJ. But I read about your description of Mouni. I saw her in Mahadev and she is one graceful actress. I do think she would look quite good with Avinash if they come in a show together. I didn't know many of the tv actors and I can't believe I went through celeb index to find a girl fit for my lame story. I originally had the movie Silsila and the actress Rekha on my mind when I started cooking that silly story😆. I thought Mouni has similar features and skin tone as Rekha and I am really impressed with her emoting, dancing and her easy attitude in general. I would really like to see Avi with her.😊

What can be more frustrating than watching a characterless hero...n his romance...I tried my level best but the final blow is shlok 'testing' abhay...when everything is crystal clear what's the need to always whack sense to him in every single issue...but I predicted this 'mission spoil SA' long ago.when they made him Ravan during holi...his reaction was very un-shlokish...but am so much into the story n character, so failed to notice the slow n steady change after that... agree priya

And I have to mention about sucking sp...who never promoted this show,even during jungle hm with high trps...but now promoting after successfully changed this show into a saas bahu saga...but my piece of mind to them is even the viewers following family drama would expect a sensible hero...not this version of shlok...n they will never get their desired result by changing a angry young man of a dark love story to a dumb love lorn puppy of s-b story without proper closure n reasoning for his behaviour till date...*sigh* I think they should have stuck to the love story format because that is what gave them good viewership in december-january. I have a feeling that they tried to model this after SNS, because that show is rumored to go off air soon. Probably they wanted to shift this show to 7:00 pm slot. may be i'm reading too much into the events but... sending Aastha with Gopi to Ahmedabad... Saas-Bahu jodi... Best Patni etc make me think so. just my speculation though.

But I love the whole cast of this show ...so am here to support them through forums...wishing them all success 😛
