Narayani Devi's Dialogue delivery

Guys, is it me, or is this the truth?!

Have you nocticed, at times when ND talks to Suyash or Paro, her dialogue delivery feels as if she is reading from a sheet of paper or as if she has crammed the phrases... It feels odd to listen, but try noticing it, you'll agree with me. 😊

but she does talk in a different way, like she is well versed or something

At first even I thought the same thing but later I saw her in other projects and I must say she's a very good actress😳 I guess that's the way they asked her to portray the character thus making her look a bit odd😕

hey i think Aruna Irani is a very good actor...probably the character demanded her to act that way, stern n to the point yet soft on Paro n Suyesh! 😊

Aruna Irani has been a damn good actress over several decades playing various roles and I think that for this particular role perhaps she was asked to portray her character in this way, because after yonks of experience I don't that she will resort to reading from a sheet of paper!!

I also haven't noticed anything like that - the character is such that she is wellversed in the scriptures and has vast knowledge and experience of the world, so sometimes it sounds like she is speaking at or speaking "down" to the chars, but that is a characterisation thing rather than a dialogue delivery thing...

Maybe she has to act that way.

😆 I understand wat u mean, it is really funny sometimes the way she says her dialogues like 'aaj yeh apni ghar jaayegi par parvathi banke nahin, jaanki banke' 😆 , and many such dialogues like that, i mean i dont understand whom is she saying all this to, she uses 'aaj yeh' and stuff, and there is no body else in the room except her and parvati 😆 ! And its funny the way she always has this 'shank' with her, and whenever parvathi tells her she achieved something, narayani devi takes out this shank and blows it 😆 ...its funny, ok we understand she is giving advices from mahabharatha to parvathi, but its funny the way she is taking it in the literal sense and is blowing the shank like how Lord Krishna did 😆 ...i am just imagining her going to a shop to buy that shank yaar 😆 !

Aruna Irani is a veteran actress. I think that is her style. She is a very good actress.
