Today was a magnificent episode. Every minute was riveting and everyone was simply splendid in their parts. Special mention must be made of Manish Wadhwa, Avinash Sachdev and Shrenu Parikh who breathed life into their roles and were outstanding along with Geetanjali Tikekar.
The argument between Ashlok with Bappa in the bg was sterling. Aastha goes behind shlok to pacify him and under the impression that she will be able to sway him with her pleas and apologizing. But little did she know that her pathidev was in an unforgiving mood and said some home truths to her. He has been overlooking her errors for quite some time and everytime he forgave her when she apologized. Not this time, he said she would do the same again and they would argue again as SHE NEVER EVER LEARNT FROM HER MISTAKES. HE SAW NO POINT IN EVEN TALKING OR ARGUING WITH HER ABOUT IT AS SHE DID WHAT HER IMPULSIVE NATURE MADE HER DO, INSPITE OF REPEATED WARNINGS FROM HIM SHE WENT AHEAD AND DID WHAT SHE WANTED TO. ANOTHER GOLDEN SENTENCE - UNLESS AASTHA CHANGES HER THINKING AND HER WAYS THERE IS NOW WAY THINGS WOULD IMPROVE BETNWEEN THEM.
To Which Aastha wants to know what she should have done as the plight of the seniors moved her deeply and she was attached to them and could not see them homeless. Another error when she said that their plight did not affect Shlok at all to which he grabbed her arms and hurt her and continued to hurt her even when she said she was in pain. She pointed out his mistake in raising his hand against her and he said yes, he did a mistake by doing that. AAstha gets mad and manages to shake him off and leaves in a huff. Hubby goes off in the opposite direction. One thing I am glad is they did not show shlok hitting the bottle. Now, if NA continues with his game plan, shlok might head that way very soon to drown his sorry self and ego and anger and hurt.😭
For the first time since the ILU's both slept apart and were shocked to realist that they had overslept. Hangover. From too much anger and tears. Shlok is stunned by the proceedings and watches with a puzzled look at his baba. He also looks as baby doll who takes the step of apologizing to MAHAAN BABA in the glare of the media and the family. She does the apology very prettily and and everyone is appeased by this apparent show of contrition, who vows never to do anything like this again. FAMOUS LAST WORDS, AASTHA. Shlok says thank you and sorry the two words he hates the most in the English language as he told Aastha pre marriage. NA hugs him and then gives him several warnings and tells him to rein in his wife, as the next time she gets herself into trouble he might be helpless to come to her aid, and her artlessness and childishness cannot be used as excuses as she inadvertently hurts the sentiments of the parivar at large. When baba was warning bachha, baccha had a strange look on his face and hurriedly reassured baba that he would not give him a chance to get upset. No one was above baba, no one meaning his wife, came after baba, On hearing this baba had a very satisfied smile on his face and rushed to give his bachha a hug. BACHHA HAD AN IMPASSIVE LOOK ON HIS FACE DURING THE HUG. His brain is racing to counter the threats made by baba against his very life and his love, Aastha. WHEW MUST SAY THIS WAS CRACKING WITH SOME GLORIOUS BG MUSIC.
Anjali is deep in thought and reflecting on the possible ways her SAHEB will retaliate as it is not in his nature to take things lying down. She is woken out of her reverie by aASTHA. Anjali warns her that the attack of a wounded lion is even more ferocious and perilous. To which Aastha replies that it is the lioness that goes out on a hunt and feeds her young while the king aka the lion just lolls about and stays at home. The real one to be afraid of is the LIONESS WHO WILL GUARD HER YOUNG AND TEAR INTO THOSE THAT SEEK TO HARM THEM.
So an indication that Anjali is finally going to wake up and play her part in the proceedings which NA has set in motion. She cannot bear to see Ashlok separated and Jyoti sent back to her abusive and cruel husband. AM SO EXCITED. BRING IT ON. 😃 😃
