Chapter 1 - College begins
Current day August 3rd 2013, Bombay, India, it is the most populous city in India, and the fourth most populous city in the world. Bombay is the place where four college students become very close best friends and soul mates.
Two best friends since they were born, Raj (me) and Ranveer. My dad and Ranveer's dad were best friends since college, that's how Ranveer and I become really close friends. We did basically everything together if Ranveer wasn't there I would feel alone. I am glad Ranveer is with me and I can share all my feelings with. It's the summer, the best time of the year.
"Hey Raj!" Screamed Ranveer.
"Oh hey Ranveer, How are you?" I asked.
"Very well thanks. College is going to start in a couple of weeks." Ranveer said.
"I am ready to go to college. It's going to be great" I said.
We are go to St. Xavier's College; this college was in one of my favorite movies Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Since the movie came out I wanted to go there. This college was my dream in 1990. And also the girls we love go there as well.
"Boys dinner is ready." Mom called us in.
"Mom what's for dinner?" I asked
"I made yours and Ranveer's favorite, Pani Puri."
We got so excited that we ran to the bathroom to freshen up and eat some homemade Pani Puri.
As we finished eating dinner, I wondered how many Pani Puri's we had, since we both love Pani Puri a lot we knew if had a lot of Pani Puri's it will make our stomachs ache and which it did. Ranveer and I love Pani Puri; we couldn't stop eating that's how good it was. As the puri goes into your mouth, the taste flows with the pani, the potato mixture, and the onions. Whenever Ranveer and I go out to eat we always eat Pani Puri at the stands on the sides of the road.
A month has passed and college is going to start on September 3rd, 2013. College is the best place to be because I feel like I am home and I see Avani and Ranveer will see Anjali. It's the first day of college and everyone seems so excited to meet new people and make friends. Ranveer and I mostly have all classes together, that's a sigh of relief along with Avani and Anjali were in the same classes as us.
They are both are sister's, 1 year apart. My dad knows their dad since college and Ranveer and I were in love with them.
I would look at her and be lost in her beauty. Her long layered gorgeous with bangs, haye main toh fida ho gaya!!! The most wonderful thing about her was when she smiled, her smile always brightened my day.
As months passed by, February came and I knew I was going tell Avani what I felt for her. When I saw Ranveer's face, there was the same expression as mine. We both were going to tell Anjali and Avani that we LOVE YOU!!!!!
As Ranveer and I were talking, Avani and Anjali, the most beautiful girls in college we knew came up to us. We both couldn't say a word as they approached us. Ranveer couldn't get his eyes off of Anjali and I couldn't get eyes off of Avani.
"Hi boys." They both said together.
"How are you doing Avani and Anjali?" I asked.
"We are fine, thanks. How are you?" Avani asked.
"We are fine as well." I said.
As we were talking the bell rang. It was time to go to class. We all had first class together; it was the best class I ever had with Avani. I figured out during class, the professor didn't really care, I found that rare but awesome. The whole time I was looking at Avani, I love her so much. I fell in love with her since with first met few years age at a party. I always I take the notes from Avani and she always tells me what happened in class because she knows how much I hate the subject. So back to the party, where she was dressed in a very beautiful red color Choli.
FLASHBACK (July 14th, 2011)
Ranveer said, "Do you remember the two girls we used to hang out with when we were little and then
they moved to London? They are coming back to India and finishing college at St. Xavier's."
"WHAT!!!!!!!!! AVANI AND ANJALI ARE COMING BACK!!!!!!!!" I saw shocked
"Yo Raj chill, it's not the end of the world. By the way it's Avani's birthday the day she comes back so Uncle has invited our families and we have to go."
"WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed
I was shell shocked, the girl who I admired since childhood is coming backing after 7 years and I have no idea how she looks like but I am sure she is going to be the most gorgeous girl ever.
The day came when Avani and Anjali were coming back. Actually I was seeing nervousness in Ranveer because he admired Anjali.
As we entered their house we both could scene their presences. Then the girls turned to look at us and we were shocked to see the most gorgeous girls ever. They both were wearing red colored choli's but each choli had different patterns. As they came up to us, we didn't know how to react.
Avani and Anjali were talking to us and we did not listen to what they were saying because we were both admiring their beauty.
They slap our shoulder, we shouted, "OHCH!!!!!"
The girls started laughing and we just admiring them.
Anyways we went in and we were both talking to the girls
Ranveer and Anjali went to one side and I was all alone with Avani.
I could hear my heartbeat that's how nervous I was.
"So how's life going? Did you miss me?" Avani asked
In my mind I was saying "Life without you was sooo darn boring, you have no idea, now its perfect because you are back to stay. Yes I did you a lot, have no idea whatsoever!!" As I know that I never blushed in my life. Seeing Avani made me blush so much that I wondered why am I blushing so much, I thought that's the job of girls.
"Life is going great and of course I missed you, no need ask about that." I replied
"You have not changed since I left, I like that no actually I love it because when people change they are not the original person that they were before."
"That's why I haven't changed because I know you don't like it." I said
She looked at me and gazed in my eyes for a minute or two. We were both lost in our worlds.
Suddenly the bell rang for class dismissal!!!!! UGH!!!!!
Flashback was over!!
