I didn't have time to continue with Saarthi..so, my track as Arjun has been killed. My producer (Asit Modi) was not okay with the decision, because I was the central character. I wanted to focus on Meri Awaz.Ko Mil Gayee Roshni, so I requested him to wind up my track as soon as possible without compromising the storyline. Thankfully, that has been done. These past two months have been very hectic. I was hardly going home. From a 9 a m to 10 p m shift for Meri Awaz.. I'd run to the Saarthi set and shoot till 7 a m. The only time I'd get to catch a few winks would be in the car while travelling from one set to the other. No bad blood My co-stars have been very co- operative. I knew it was causing stress to them though none of them – my director, co-stars, executive producer, cameraman – ever created a fuss or threw a tantrum. Everyone did night shifts because of me. They've been very co-operative.I'm really sorry for all the inconvenience I've caused. Saarthi is a big hit..I hope it stays that way. Saturation I was part of Saarthi for 520 episodes but as an actor, I felt the need to do something different. Acting as Raj in Meri Awaz.. has given me that opportunity. Well, so did the character of Arjun. But, h o n e s t l y, I was getting a bit saturated by the charac- ter. I'm look- ing toimprove as an actor. I know Saarthi's TRPs are better than those of Meri Awaz... But one can't compare a show that's run for more than 500 episodes with a new one. The TRPs of a show have nothing to do with my decisions. 520episodes Besides Karan Grover, Saarthi's l lead actress Neha Devi Singh aka Bhumika, was also replaced by Zalak Thakkar a few months ago.
It is true that over the past 10 months..in saarthi the focus was only on shefali and bhoomi's fight for arjun..but arjun never had anything much to do..there was nothing really happening for arjun..and cannot blame him for his decision..though it has broken our hearts..if only the saarthi writers had not dragged the shefali and surrogate mother track so much.. neha , karan as well as adita wahi might have not quit the show..these 3 lead actors were really good..good looking as well as great actors and all of them had an amazing chemistry with each other..even now if i see the old saarthi serials ..the chemistry between neha and karan is unbelievably amazing..almost like real lovers.. I guess the creative director/writers of saarthi are to be blamed for the pothole in which they find themselves today.. SARTHI was an amazing serial ..today it has become another serial..i cannot identify with it any longer..just come to the forum and read the updates and like to know everybody'S view points on the forum.. it is necessary that when a show has talented actors/actresses..the writers must take their creative satisfaction also into consideration. After all acting is an art and actors/actresses are artists who often have a temperamental nature due to the creativity that is there in them. An actor cannot act in an unbelievable role for too long and the way shefali was getting away with her disgusting evil antics for almost a year was really unbelievable..

of course, this show survived due to arjun-bhavri and their pyaar....with shefali's bitchy acts of course.....but i don't want him to come back with a lost memory or some stupid plan! he's right yaar, everyone has the right to chose from their options! and waise bhi arjun had hardly become a decorative piece in this serial, all with shefali and bhoomi fighting! and now with gunvanti and yuvraj together, uska toh kuch kaam hi nahi hota!!!
that is exactly what i meant..arjun has had nothing much to do froom over a year..nowonder he was getting stifled as an actor and left the show..in MAKMGR he has a lovely and important role which he enjoys doing..i only wish they had had a better actress opposite him in the lead..i find ashima ( sudha ) an irritating copy of shilpa ..i don't like her facial expressions which seem like overacting..hence i do not feel like watching that show..but karan and neha together were wonderful 😳
