ELAS Update: June 11, 2007

• We get to hear the Kyun Dehkne Se Pehlay Ye Khwab Toot Gaye song, as Nikhil is laying on his hospital bed, recalling the requirements and the risk he'd go through, when having the Bone Marrow Transplant Surgery. He recalls that he could lose his life while this procedure, etc. Anu is standing in shock holding the divorce papers, when Meera comes and asks her what is the matter. Anu is unable to respond, and falls to the floor, dropping the papers. Meera reads them and is shocked.
  
• The doctor hands Nikhil the papers he needs to sign. Anu looks at the papers in daze, and tears them up, while Nikhil signs the papers.
• Sonam is with Nikhil in his room, and he thanks her for helping him through this. He tells her that he couldnt thank her enough. Sonam tells him that this thanks isnt necessary. Nikhil tells Sonam that he must thank her, as he had sacrificed a lot. He tells her that he owes her due to the death of her sister Milan (I think that's her name, hopefully the spelling is correct!), and owes her life to her son, Nikhil.
• Sonam reminds him of all the sacrifices he made, and he said that he had to make Anu leave him, so she'd let him go, otherwise she'd probably kill herself. He knows how much Anu loves him and this way it'd be easier for her love to fade away. Nikhil says that this Nikhil Sammarth may not be able to live, but atleast his SON Nikhil Sammarth will be able to. Sonam is upset to hear this, and excuses herself from the room.
• Anu marches into the lawyers office, asking for an explanation of the divorce papers. Anu tells the lawyer that she wont sign the papers until she finds out what the reason behind all of this is. The lawyer tells Anu that she has no choice but to sign them, as Nikhil had planned a divorce for 1 to 2 months now. He explains to her the situation and this is all in mute, and while Anu is listening she recalls all the Sonam and Nikhil moments, such as their secret encounter, and their fake intimate moments. After explaining, the lawyer tells her that there's nothing else she can do, and hands her a new set of divorce papers.
• Nikhil Jr. is lying in his room, with an oxygen mask over his mouth. Sonam and Nikhil are there watching Nikhil Jr. And Nikhil tells Sonam that he sacrificed a lot, and that back then he always wanted a child, and finally Anushka came into his life. He tells Sonam that life has given him many obstacles. And that Anushka gave him life and Nikhil Jr. Gave him a path of death, but he is willing to accomplish that.
• While this is happening, Meera, Biji and Amma are sitting with Anu telling her that Nikhil was a fraud and that he was only a temporary part of her life, and that he left her in the dust. They tell her that she must move on, but Anu tells them that she wont move on until she finds out WHY Nikhil did all of this.
• Nikhil tells Sonam that he upset of what is going on, but he knows that this mistake that he made is his consequence. He tells Sonam that there was a time where he loved Milan and they were both carefree, and one mistake drifted them a part. He tells her that this mistake is now a punishment that Nikhil must make up.
  
• Sonam tells Nikhil that Milan loved Nikhil a lot, and even though Nikhil left her, she still wanted a memory of him left, and that memory was Nikhil Jr. She tells Nikhil that Milan knew that Nikhil was happy with his new life with Anu and Anushka, so she never dared to bother them.
• Sonam tells Nikhil that Milan made her promise that she'd never tell this to Nikhil, so she kept the secret, until she found out that Nikhil Jr. has Blood Cancer, and needed a bone marrow transplant. She found out that the transplant must be done by a parent of Nikhil Jr, so she had to break her promise with her sister and tell Nikhil. Sonam thanks Nikhil again for everything he is doing, and he is like an angel, or a god.
  
• Nikhil tells Sonam that he was always willing to do anything for his kids, and now it is his time.
• Anu is standing in her room holding the divorce papers, and pondering about relationships and how marriage is supposed to consist of 7 lives. She wonders how a piece of paper could end all those relations and what could possibly come in the way of it. Just then a gust of wind blows the papers out of Anu's hands, and land on the table where the praying area is, where her gods are. Anu is surprised to see this.
• Nikhil and Sonam are still in Nikhil Jr.'s room, when Mr. Malhotra, the lawyer, calls Nikhil and tells him that Anu didnt sign the papers. He tells him that he sent another copy of the papers, but he's sure that Anu still wont sign them.
  
• Nikhil hangs up and tells Sonam that she didnt sign the papers. The doctor walks in asking Nikhil if he's ready to start the treatment, Nikhil tells the doctor that not yet, and the doctor tells him that they are already behind on the treatment and they should get started soon, as Nikhil Jr's life is more and more at risk. Nikhil asks for one more day and the doctor leaves. Nikhil goes near Nikhil Jr. and thinks to himself that Anu must sign the papers soon for his son's life, and so that she can forever be free. Whether or not his life is at stake.
• Anu's in her room, when she recieves a phonecall. It's Nikhil asking what Anu's problem is and why she's not signing the papers. Nikhil tells her that he loves Sonam now and is about to go marry her, so she better speed up the pace.
• Anu tries to speak, but Nikhil tells her that he understands that she's weak and unable to take care of herself and her daughter, and that she needs his support. So, he'll give her money to support herself and her child, he'll give her money for every moment he spent with them, just as long as she signs the papers. Anu is outraged to hear this and tells him that she cant believe that he thinks that she needs him to support them, and that she can take care of Anushka herself. She doesnt need him. Anu tells him that he is now dead for them, and that she will gladly sign the divorce papers. Nikhil is sad to hear this but he knows that he must go on with the treatment.
• End

Comments: Ahhhh! So after a one week break, we're back on track, to a horrid plot! I am not happy with this plot, and yeah, they're pretty confused. I guess we just have to wait for Mr. Cezanne to make his entry! Sad episode, we find out a little bit more about Nikhil's reason for all of this, and it seems that Sonam's sister, Milan, was a past love of Nikhil! Adding up to the list! Anu is determined to find out WHY Nikhil is doing this, but I think she might hold her self back now that Nikhil said all of that crap to her! We all know that Nikhil probably isnt going to die, and some other crappy twist is going to come up! Anyways, discuss all you want here, or on the sticky post. I'll be back with you guys on Wednesday!

looks like anu will sign the papers but the fact is nikhil will survive like a magic by then cez will be in anu's life . may be they will marry soon and then one day nik will come??????????

Hmm they haven't yet spoken abt the neurosurgeon!
i think NIkhil asked for one more day, coz he want anu to sign the papers, so that's kinda risky for the boy and then they the doc will say that they have to call the best neurosurgeon Dhruv! and then on 14th Cezanne will enter! what say?? 😉
