Arnav swayed his thumb over his phone display picture .No matter how much stressed and tired he was, whenever he looked at her smiling face all his fatigue would vanish . The same reason for which he had her picture as his phone screen display . Khushi , his love - his smiley that is how he addressed her.

Arnav is lucky to have Khushi as his wife 😉 He really loves her smile ☺️

Tomorrow was khushi s birthday and he was struck in his never ending business deals and meetings . He had never hated his work like he was doing at the moment . Every year , he was the first one to wish khushi .But this year, as it was her first birthday after their marriage , he wanted to make her birthday the most special and the most memorable one . He had made all the preparations for her surprise birthday party , he had done everything himself, which in his knowledge khushi loved and was sure that his smiley would be very happy seeing all the surprises that he had planned .

Every thing was going smooth and perfect until he had to leave for an urgent meeting in Itlay . H e would have refused to go if it were not that important . There had been some legal issues in AR branch in Itlay and his presence was required there . He thought of taking khushi along with him but khushi' s visa issues did not let him . He was angry . He was frustrated and upset because of the sudden changes in plan . The hours he had spent in thinking and preparing for her birthday seemed futile now . He wanted to wish khushi , and to be with her on her special day . He winded up all his work in just one day , attending back to back meetings so that he may return to khushi on time . All the time during his journey back to India there was only one thing on his mind - khushi . He was getting restless with each passing second .

Khushi looked at her golden wrist watch again , the same watch which he had gifted her last year on her birthday . She remembered how lovingly he had tied it on her wrist .

She had always worn it since then . He had always been the reason of her smile .She felt lucky to have her arnav ji in her life . She knew he would always do anything and everything possible to make her happy , to keep her happy .

And today was no different . He had arranged a surprise party for her . She was pleasantly surprised to see all their college friends and family members gathered to wish her . Every thing from decorations to the menu was of her choice . She loved the way he did things for her . But where was he ? Is this also his plan to come last and surprise me ? but does he not know i wanted him to wish me first ? where are you arnav ji ? when will you reach ?
khushi thought looking at her watch once again . it was the time to cut cake . Everyone knew khushi was missing arnav , it was written all over her face . She never wanted to celebrate her first post-marriage birthday without him . For the first time in life she did not feel like celebrating her day. All these celebrations meant nothing for her without him . She did not cut the cake but the ordered the house helps to serve the guests with dinner .
She was now steadily looking her watch , when a friend of hers gifted her a bouquet. Her face lit up as she saw the flowers which reminded her of him again .She was trying hard to not spill tears when the blowing winds announced her , his presence around . She looked around only to see arnav standing there .

I could see Khushi waiting for Arnav infront of me and trying not to shed tears out of her eyes😒

Arnav had planned to reach before midnight but the delay in flight was not helping him to do so . He wanted to be the first one to wish her . I can ' t even send her a text message . DAMMIT ! This flight ! He however managed to reach on the same day . The moment he entered he saw khushi receiving flowers and noticed how her eyes lit up and then how her expressions changed and her eyes became moist . He exactly knew how she was feeling and what she was thinking .

Arnav knows each and everything about her

Khushi was grinning with excitement and happiness . She threw her arms around him hugging him tight . She knew he would come no matter what . He held embraced her and then cupping her face kissing one cheek said Happy Birthday To You KHUSHI repeating the action on her other cheek he said again Happy Birthday smiley .

He sang for her ❤️ I adored each and every line of the story, its awesome ⭐️
