Mansi, remember i had asked u if shenu can be related to Mirza... do u think Mirza can be link btw Shenu and Mahachuchak?

Actually Diksha I am waiting to see if Shenu and Mirza are romantically linked. Something is giving me that idea ... but unless we see them together in the same frame its hard to tell how they are vibing or whether they are avoiding showing their relationship.

Mansi, since you mentioned the hugs in your post, wrote about that.

I do not have any problems with how they show hugs or with PS & RT.
Their expressions are super. Yesterday when Jodha did not have words to convey her pride and happiness her happy hug, then the shy hug when she did not want to say Jalal, the way Jodha hugged the Akbar written paper all too cute.

I loved Jalal's happy expression at Jodha hugging him (I guess should say stunned happy surprise!).

Just wish they show them as married in love couple, spending nights together even if by implying rather than turn them into platonic friends!

Fed up with Ruk - her smirks, arrogance, BEK, Khas and absolutely no shame or guilt about her behavior. Seeing Ruk go scot free and lording over others is disgusting to see.

What was the need for CVs to send Jodha to meet her to let her say to Jodha does not need her teemardari!

What was the need to show SB go to Ruk and hear her smirk and say she is closest to Jalal BEK!

I hate to see Jalal Ruk scenes.

Jodha Jalal scenes I LOVE! 😃😃😃

I would gladly accept the height theory when the goal is to rest your head on the other's shoulder. However, not all hugs are like that! These two are their 20's. They are married. They are madly in love. They are alone in their room. They seem stiff and are not convincing.

I am not puttint it on PS. I explicitly mentioned PariJat chemistry. Now, we can't quite blame Abul Mali for their hugs, can we? 😊

These two, Pari and Rajat, are the leads. They are on the stage. By the most ancient tradition of performing arts, they get the applause when we like something, they get the boo when we don't. In the end, it is their face on the story.

Yup... they are stiff and dont hug well.
If we go by height factor, Amir Khan, Salman Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Shahrukh Khan will have no chemistry with Juhi Chawla, Katrina kaif, Sonakshi Sinha and Deepika in that order...LOL.
Its not the height. ! But I'm OK... they do look less passionate though. But the story around and the made to believe romance makes up for it. But then in most TV serials the hug of leads is not fiery enough...

LOL it is all in camera angles. I had read one interview of Farah K where she had written for Mai Hoo Na she used to tell Sushmita to stand all the time with her legs bent so she won't look taller then Shahrukh!

I guess here in TV since they have to can so many shots in a day they do not bother so much about all this! I don't think for hugs there is any problem, to me it seems the CVs have problem in showing them do anything more, once SR is done they feel that is enough to show Jodha pregnant!

Coming to rowdy begum... I actually know she'd make a good villian. the actress is seasoned in villian giri...I do hope they give her a dash of ruggedness and loads of cunningness though. At present it seems the other way round...Khair.
Jo does give good expressions of a much in love woman... her scene of writing Akbar and then hugging that piece of paper was good...How about trying to hug the man in flesh with open hands. Why aim to have 1 hand on his chest.. both should be on his back. And that is when their height issue will actually produce crackling chemistry rather than dilute it...
A must watch is the beautiful prithvi -Sanyogita hug of Rajat's PRC days.. with his co actress mugdha. That time also there was no difference between heights of leads...SO whatever anyone says, I'm going to blame the leads for the luke warm hugs.
Mansi... A very nice post

Otherwise I canot understand why they are needed if they have no part but to look like part of the landscape!

I agree...we never know the purpose of certain characters sometimes...Maan Singh and Mirza too are lying around not doing anything sometime before we see glimpses of them now and then...I think sometime this is sort of unavoidable damages of indian mega serials. Equal share of screen space and story to every character and to ensure that they are also interesting and engaging is something our TV serials still need to learn...

So when the situation is like that I guess we just make best out of it by admiring the now and then good scenes/acting these actors give us...

Abhay do you think they will show Mahchuchak doing all her saazish from Kabul itself or will they show her coming to Agra and wreaking havoc in Jalal's life? Maybe as naatakiya roopanthar they may bring her to Agra because Abul mali seemed to indicate that she is on her way?

Mansi,
I think they will show MC Begum planning to attack Jalal. And Jalal may send Munim Khan to confront her in Kabul itself.?.

Another issue is the SUDDEN appearance of Mirza Hakim now. I wonder if there is some hidden agenda.!.

MC Begum's track will be executed from Kabul only, i feel so. More we can see what's in store for us today.!.:)

When did you start advertising Hugology course.?. Lol.

Heya mansi and heyo to evryone here... me back with my longish posts after an impromtu hiatus...I'd make the hug emoticon but I don't know how to, so am counting on your knowledge on all things hugs
awesome analysis... waiting for your 'chemical equations' about hug
About yesterday's episode, specifically the second half... the less said the better... let me tell how exactly how silly it was..
My father watched JA for the first time ever with me day before and yesterday too... well actually I snatched the remote at 8 pm but lets forget that...
So when all that mahachuchak's maha drama entry with that khaata peeta hua prisoner chanting 'rehem rehem' and her posse of poncy li'l wannabe teeneagers masqerading as death eaters was taking place... my father had this bewildered expression... like w*f is my daughter watching... and I had to tell him that apparently this woman was ruthlessly cruel... like a hannibal meets a hitler types... but my explanation fell flat to both our ears and we both knew we were watching a much glorified mogambo...
And I like mogambo..
And if that wasn't over the top enough, we had the villains congregate together in the desolate freezing mountains to torture a prisoner...'
yes ma'am...!! torture and losing toes to frostbite... what an excellent way to picnic with your minions... and if we're lucky... we might get stuck in an avalanche too...
Worst yet was the ridiculous skull nose masks the evil henchmen were wearing... good lord... as if voldie's li'l circus of death eaters didnt look ridiculous enough... if the cv's wanted to bring in the intimidation factor atleast hide the eyes if not the faces... its a basic rule in the book 'evil and you 101'
But really.. what do these masks do... they hinder the eyesight, doesnt protect the face from attacks rather hurts the face and eyes when it breaks, restrict face movement, hinder breathing, is suffocating no doubt and I bet it gets sweaty and smelly too...'
The workings of a twisted brain... I don't gettit...

Anyhoo... if the second half was ridiculously... ridiculous...
Then the first half was ridiculously lovely... it was simple akdha at its best... tedha jalal and the naive baaghin...
Oooh... I liked it... I liked it a lot... the first hug had me hopping on the bed...
Well what can I say.. I too am ridiculous
...
...
THIS POST IS RIDICULOUS...!
Last I'll only say this... maham is looking beat, villains have more teeth and whatever the cv's do to hakim, its gonna be...sloppy...
I'm usually better at rhyming...
Best wishes
