OK so today's episode was nothing more than a filler. Nothing great but it was good. The best part was end of PraPhool circus.Pratap...One hell of a gentleman with extraordinary amounts of patience, courage , sympathy, faith and loyalty. Trying to maintain peace, feeling sorry for Phool, not questioning your father and being loyal to him...that's not easy for anyone, especially when one is in an emotional turmoil himself. And then preparing for war and sniffing out the traitor. Kudos to you.
Phool...I don't think you actually understand why Pratap wants to marry you. He is not into you. He is not mesmerised by your status as the Princess of Marwar or your beauty like you think he is. Neither is he appreciative of your personality nor does he wants to run across a flower-filled field-with-a-rainbow-in-the-sky with you like you want to. He is marrying you for political reasons. For the unity of Mewar and Marwar. I think you better get your ideas about this straight real quickly.
US...While I admire you for standing up for VB, you just ruined everything (thank god for that). You never deserved JB or Pratap or even SB, neither in the show nor in the real history. For the first time, I was glad that none of your three wives were giving you any kind of support. Acknowledging PraJa's sacrifice and Ajab's humiliation will not solve any of this. I really want you to suffer for sometime.
JB...That's the Maharani of Mewar. The one who has the right to sit on the throne. Lady, truly, you don't know how much I admire you on moments like these. I know SB is a good person but still must have hurt when US first brought her, didn't it? And considering Shakti's age, I don't think even a year was completed after your own wedding. Sigh...
SB...I don't know for what reasons US married you (in the show I mean, in history we all know that US didn't need a reason) but you are right. Its difficult to trust US, especially when he had married a snake like DB just for beauty even after he had you or even before that when he had just JB.
DB...Do you now realise how it felt for JB to see her husband marry twice (and neglect her) or for SB to see a much younger queen to be brought home (and be completely ignored for her)? Do you now feel the pinch? The rant you spouted out are exactly the reasons for which US married you. Your youthful beauty and your sweet tongue. Nothing more. You were always an object of pleasure, never anything more.
VB...I sincerely hope that you turn out to be a good co-wife and step-mom because I am really starting to like you.
RM...You are an egoistic piece of trash. Threatening to massacre the Sisodiyas??!!!!! Good thing that you broke the PraPhool wedding. You are literally duping the other kings into the war by giving them your own version of the events.
UD...One good thing you did today was to drag Phool out from Pratap's life. Bravo.
RS...Like Pratap, you seemed to be one of the only two sane people out there.
Rawatji...That's right. You were completely good with your threat. After all, he had just threatened to massacre the Sisodiya dynasty.
Jalal, BK, HS,...I hope your plan is an epic fail.
Precap...Now the SBS segment makes sense. Preparations of war and some shortage of 3000 armours.
Alright, many people out seemed to be confused so as to what a samanta is - whether he is a governor or just a small ruler. Let me explain.
Take India and Bhutan. People know that Bhutan is a country in its own right. Everything from its currency to law, Bhutan decides by itself. However, legally, Bhutan is a protectorate of India. Meaning India has certain rights over Bhutan. When the British left, Bhutan was one of those princely states which, like Nepal, joined neither India nor Pakistan. However unlike Nepal, Bhutan is a weak country, militarily and economically. Hence, the King of Bhutan signed an alliance treaty which makes Bhutan a protectorate of India. The treaty gives India, to a certain extent, the right to handle the foreign affairs of Bhutan and the complete right to handle the military protection of Bhutan. That's why the Indian defence forces have bases in Bhutan. Indians don't need visa to enter Bhutan nor the Bhutaneses need visa to enter India. Bhutanese can enroll into Indian public services, government jobs and army without any extra requirements. Nepal also has a similar treaty with India but with more equality. The treaty allows the Nepalese and the Indians to enter each others territories without visa. It also allows Nepalese to compete for Indian public sector jobs and defence forces. That's why we have a Gorkha Regiment and the Sherpa team in the Indian Army. We even have Nepali as one of our scheduled languages.
So, just to make it clear, Bijolia, Ajmer and Kherwa are independent kingdoms in their own rights but are allied with bigger states. Bijolia (was) with Mewar. Ajmer (was) and Kherwa (is) with Marwar, similar to Bhutan and Nepal with India. That's also the reason why Phool could roam around in Bijolia without any restrictions from Mewar. Mewar can't interfere in internal matters of Bijolia. It has only the responsibility of protecting it and Bijolia, in turn, coming to Mewar's aid (which Bijolia did during Bundi phase or Pratap did by reinforcing the border posts of Bijolia).
Now, for example, if we let the Princess of Bhutan be insulted on our land by any other country, won't it be wrong? After all, we are to protect and respect them as our own. Same happened with Ajabde. She, the Princess of Bijolia, was insulted by Marwar under the roof of Mewar. MM had every right to be angry and cut off political ties .
