||Temptation||
"Damn" she cursed for the umpteenth time...
"damn this...damn vardhan sir...damn this STOMACH" she was beyond hungry!
She was starving...
Vardhan could never be satisfied...
This morning when she proudly submitted her assignment a day before the deadline...
He EXTRA PROUDLY gave her a machine to repair ... that to,, it had to be submitted tomorrow morning...
She was alone in the lab ...left to starve to death...
Sanyukta sighed...
Well she wasn't technically alone...
The opposite table was engaged...
But having randhir as the only companion was equivalent to being utterly alone...
He never spoke to her... Apart from all the intense glares she used to receive!
She was sure something had changed amidst them...
the air between them was one of it..
But as they say... "SOMETHINGS" never change...
His ego was one of them...
She had stopped analyzing stuff way back...
Now you must be thinking why isn't she eating anything ?
Well ... first of all... her hands were covered with grease...
She couldn't afford going to the canteen ... she had loads of work left..
So the only option left , was to imagine chocolates, cakes,muffins and...
"UGH" She groaned ...
He gave her his irritated smirk again...she fussed back to the nuts and bolts in front of her...
"SANYU!!!" Kaustuki came rushing inside...
She had this huge bar of temptation with her...
Kaustuki hugged her...
"sanyu !! see jiggi gave me 3 of these! its our 2nd month anniversary today !!" she gushed..
sanyukta could smell it...
all she could think was that chocolate...
"wow kaustu! ummm... chocolate nahi khilaegi ???"
kaustuki peeled it one fourth ...
"kya yaaar kaustuki... ITNI KANJOOOSI ??? PURA CHEEL NA!!"she was getting impatient...
She peeled it ...threw the wrapper...
"KHILA KAUSTU !!! "
Her cell rang...
Damn...
Kaustuki pulled out her cell and started chatting with jiggi...
Suddenly she squealed,, put the naked bar on the centre of the table and rushed out giving apologetic looks to sanyukta...
Now it was just her and the bar...
Eff it!
She was desperate to gulp it...
But her hands were greased...
Sanyukta was feeling helpless...
Giving up ... She went back to work...ignoring the way the bar was looking at her...
Her stomach was yelling at her to stop being such a fool and eat it ... Along with the grease...but her brain was posing a strict NO !
She felt him move...
He gave her a final intensified glare and walked out of the lab...
Almost immediately she felt him walking towards her again..,
She turned ,,just to see him eeying the chocolate...
His hands were wet implying he just had a hand wash...
His cologne engulfed her,,..the smell was so surreal,, so yummy ...she felt she could could eat him ...nonetheless,,,,
''Its such a shame sanyukta,...no one is eating that chocolate...''
He pounced on it,,,
''RANDHIR NO! KAUSTUKI BROUGHT IT FOR ME!! DONT!"
''Tch tch tch ...'' One last smirk and he chomped of 3 cubes of temptation...
''RANDHIR PLEEEASEEE!!!"" she couldn't take the sight...
He seemed to be relishing each n every bite of the dark chocolate...
She placed her hand on his white shirt,... He froze...
She laughed at the sight,,,,
His shirt had grease stains oll over...
'Stop it sanyukta!"
She did it with more frequency,...
He caught hold of her hand ...she stained it too ..with another palm ,..
He caught it ,,,,she stained it all together...
''The chocolate's falling !!! Catch it randhir!!"
'Mmm''
''What mmm ?"
He glared at her,...
She realized...they had four hands all together,...all of them greased,...
The chocolate was breaking ...
Without another thought she grabbed the other end with her mouth...
Now it was just the chocolate between them,.,
''Ea mmm...''
She creased her eyebrows...
It sounded something like 'EAT IT'
Well she just had to be told once...
She sucked it...the chocolate immediately melting in her mouth,...the bewitching sensation.,,
She closed her eye to rejoice the moment...
While randhir couldn't help but stare at her...
They were close,..sanyukta was unaware of their situation,...
After finishing almost the whole bar herself...she saw that only a cube was left between them,..
She gulped it in a hurry only to be frozen by the sensation of his lips on her...
She was staggered...
She didn't realize that the consequence would be so ,,..yummy,.,!
His lips were warm,..smothered with chocolate...
He pulled back immediately,...
She was staring at him wide eyed...
Totally flushed by her actions,..
He moved,...slowly...precariously...
She should run...she should move away...but it felt as if her feet were stuck to the ground!
He moved closer still...till their lips were a whisper away,.,
She couldn't help but clutch his shirt tight...
He moved further and ran his tongue along her lips sucking the chocolate,...
She parted her lips immediately ...when he pulled back,...
She was mollified,,..
''Still hungry?!" He whispered huskily and smirking...he went out of the room...
Leaving behind sanyukta who had turned the darkest shade of crimson...as the double meaning of his words took forever to penetrate the haze of her mind,,,,,
