After seeing Mohit walk out of RM today leaving Emily and Pari I was wondering what exactly Emily got by marrying Mohit and allowed herself to be treated as a door mat by him.
She escaped social stigma of living with a baby that 's it. So it is the surname that she got for her child.
She is now a single mother who is gonna work to bring up her child, which she would have been if she didnt marry Mohit but just got him to court and proved paternity.
But in this case she will get society's sympathy whereas in other case she would have been ridiculed.
So a man leaves a woman she deserve sympathy, but when a woman shuns a man who forced her to do paternity test is put against her.
I mean a deserted mother struggling is fine, but a single mother who was not willing to be a door mat not fine.
If woman has to be alone she needs to be one of this category- Shunned by husband or widowed.
Cant she be unmarried , divorcee as she sees no joy in marriage. Where is the choice, do alteast our next generation will get these choices. To have a definite say in their life without subjected to prejudices.
