- Shruti then gets Maithil's grandfather out of jail and goes to Janki to gloat about her achievements

Episode begins with Trishna asking Janki why her mother (Narayani) had to go and say in front of the whole world that "Trishna loves her elders". She says that she is now forced to keep them in the house, whereas she was looking forward to finally being free of them. Janki tells her that her mother saved Trishna - if she had told the truth, Trishna would be in deep trouble. She then says that she is sick of staring at the faces of all these old people, so she has invited her mother Narayani to stay in AG House😆😆. She tells a shocked Trishna to clear out a spare room.
Shruti tells Sameer that the reason she is against the Pranay-Mets union is because she doesn't think they are right for each other. They are from different worlds and will find it difficult to adjust together. Sameer tells her to give them time - they will fall in love. Shruti doesn't think so. She looked out of her window to see Pranay and Maithili in the garden, discussing an important meeting that Pranay has the next day. He wants her to come there as moral support. Mets agrees, to Shruti's displeasure.
Pragati comes out of her room in the dead of night to see the "Forbidden, Locked Room" open. Inside is Ankit's grandma, doing strange things (she looked like she was possessed). Pragati wonders to herself how and why this door is open, when Ankit told her that it has remained locked for so many years.
Narayani asks Janki why she has asked her to stay in AG House. Janki replies that this is the last stage of her mission, and this Arjuna needs her Krishna by her side😳
Maithili's grandfather tells her that in over 30 years of service, he has never once been in any problems with the AG's. This is due to his sincerity and faith. He tells Mets that she is going to be an AG bahu soon, and though Babuji, Om and Parvati madam are not there, their sanskaar still reside there (do they?😕 could have fooled me) and Mets should always try to abide by these. He tells her that Parvati madam was the one to name her Mets, and she should live up to that name. As he is about to leave for work, the cops come by and arrest him, saying that a complaint has been made against him by Shruti Kaul, claiming that he has screwed around with AG money. Mets tries to stop them, but they leave with her grandad.
Mets comes to see Shruti, who is nonchalant and dismissive. She tells Mets that she knows her grandad is innocent, but someone had to take the fall. She can't punish Mets because that would hurt Pranay, so she hurt Mets' grandad instead. Mets cries and asks for her mercy. Shruti says that she won't get anything by begging - Mets will get her grandad back when Shruti gets her son back.
Pranay is in his meeting when Mets comes in, "drunk". She goes around the room, embarassing Pranay and impressing Shruti (Mets was too cute in this scene😳). Pranay eventually gets angry and takes her outside, where he demands to know what is going on. She tells him that she is "fitting into his lifestyle". He tells her that he can't believe she would stoop so low, and promptly breaks the engagement off. Mets cries and thinks to herself that losing Pranay is a far lesser pain than losing her grandad (too right🤢). Shruti comes there and agrees to free her grandad. She makes a call.
Shruti comes to Janki's room, ecstatic and brimming with energy. Janki muses that she must have hit some target "by mistake"😆😆 Shruti tells her that she has hit the bullseye and ended the whole game (you do realise don't you that Paro didn't come back after 20 years just to get Maithili and Pranay married?😕😆). She tells a shocked Janki her whole plan, and calls her "Janki Devi" instead of Parvati Agarwal. She says that this is the beginning of the end for Janki. She leaves. Janki has a determined and, if I may say so, slighly evil look on her face.
