Producer Ekta Kapoor has finally locked the actress, who will play a pivotal cameo role in her show titled Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi.
Actress Aparna Dixit, who is currently seen as Ankita Lokhande's sister in Pavitra Rishta, has been finalised for the same. For those uninitiated, the role was originally offered to Paridhi Sharma aka Jodha from Jodha Akbar. The show in question set in Gujarati backdrop and is expected to launch by the end of June on Colors.
Aparna, who is aware of Paridhi being the original choice for the role, says, "I have just been told that the show starts with my story. I haven't got the time to get the brief of my character yet because I have been constantly shooting for Pavitra Rishta."
