The tall and lanky Indraneil Sengupta has entertained one and all with his performances on the TV screens. The actor who gained fame with shows like Pyaar Ke Do Naam: Ek Radha Ek Shyam, Doli Saja Ke, Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, Maayka then migrated to the big screen to deliver a good body of work. After being part of notable Bengali and Hindi films, the actor will now be back on the small screen with an important cameo in Shashi-Sumeet Productions' successful show on Life OK, Tumhari Paakhi.

Yes, you heard it right!! Reports of Tumhari Paakhi shooting at Singapore for an important twist in the story line have already made headlines. A new track with a character named Rohan being brought in was reported. As per the story that came, Muzammil Ibrahim, Jugal Hansraj and Sanjay Suri were the actors short-listed to bag the role. However, it is now known that Indraneil has bagged the cameo role.

A source states, "Rohan, played by Indraneil will be Paakhi's (Shraddha Arya) childhood friend. He would have had a love angle with her, but would have gone out of her life once she got married to another guy. Now, the man will be back in Paakhi's life. He will call her to Singapore to be part of a cultural event taking place. Rohan will persuade Paakhi to take part in the competition, representing India. And this is how the Singapore track will gain precedence."

When contacted, Indraneil confirmed the news to Tellychakkar.com saying, "Yes, I will play this interesting cameo in Tumhari Paakhi. I have had a great association with Sumeet and Shashi Mittal as they were the writers on board for my shows Doli Saja Ke and Pyaar Ke Do Naam. It is nice to be working with them, now that they are producers. Also, I had time constraints in taking up TV as I have been busy with my movies. Hence, this cameo fitted the bill as it will be only for a limited time. All these are reasons enough for me to get back on screen."

The team of Tumhari Paakhi will start shooting in Singapore from 4 June and it will be a 8-10 days schedule abroad.

Thanks a lot for sharing. So we now know for sure that Rohan actually exists, and he is her childhood friend who had love for her.. but knew she was married.. so he moved on. Sounds like a positive character. Also interesting that they are mentioning "cameo", so it will be limited.

Also seems like one relief from my mind is over.. good to know that she is only going there for a few days, and will return, cause Pakhi would not really take up a job as far as Singapore to go that far away from Aayan.

It's interesting, so let's just say how it goes, one can assume Anshuman will be there, maybe as a sponsor of the event? Who knows. Hopefully he is, unless it's just Pakhi only.. since Iqbal does have a movie to promote during the same time that they are going to shoot. We'll just have to wait and see.
