why am i getting a feeling there's suddenly an overload of pr in the press... i am restless, need to watch him act. gut feel is a funny thing, no way of proving it, but from the day i saw that terrace scene in ipk, him turning away and eyes going darker and fluid, face registering chaos in a way that is intensely personal, just had a feeling, next big name in hindi films. super star, phenomenon, whatever.
the time seems to be right, hope it happens.

glad he did say creativity dies in the daily soap format... it does. and with that trp craze, and constant pushing around of story, everything gets messed up, including character. almost 4 years of acting as serial lead... oh i do feel his tiredness. and no matter how much money they supposedly make, i feel the good ones deserve much more. what barun sobti gives me when i look at him onscreen is beyond material stuff. after watching him these past few years i have come to realise exactly why an actor can make the money she or he can. why fans watch shows movies again and again, why no matter what you pay an actor, if they bridge that gap and connect with you, they're worth every penny and more...

Indi this PR overload is long overdue . With the kind of fan following he has literally been out of circulation for 2 years and loosing this valuable equity fast.

Being away from limelight was never his intention with his projects not having made it to the screen . I often read some of the comments that people post on articles relating to him , there are many who are still angry with him for leaving IPK. General public needs to see that he means business about being in the movies and now that he has a serious project he should be talking about it.

A friend in India who does not know the length and breath of my obsession with this actor lately pinged my that "my hero" will be appearing in a John A. movie. So I guess the word is getting out.

In regards to television its the industry that needs to get fixed. The hours and tweaking the story is a recipe for disaster for an actor who looks for creativity . The good side though is that the actor gets to slowly and steadily create and own the character which at times is a rush in a movie. Its like any other job that you start with and then wish to change as you feel you have reached an end.

Barun as an actor is tremendous. Am I over rating him ? Maybe but whatever I have seen so far is so promising that I am waiting to see what he can come up with .
