I differ with you on this point Diksha, simply because I believe that no one can "give you your rights". Your rights are for you take them and if you wait for someone else to give you your rights it will never come. Rights are lost by default, when you don't take your rights, you have no rights. And rights are not from title or position or allowances. Rights are just for self respect as a human being. You don't need position or rank or permission from anybody in this world to have your rights as a human being respected. You have to insist on it and demand it with authority.I personally think therefore that only when Jodha becomes generally rights-conscious and demands it both from Jalal and others she will overcome this "too soft with enemies" position. She has now slowly started expecting it from jalal, and I am sure she will soon demand it from others as well. The way she accosted maham this time shows that she is getting authoritative. But this is my personal opinion. While saying that, I fully appreciate and understand your point also.
I so want to see the fiery Jodha back. 😃 Why has being in love turned her into a doormat, where Ruk comes and insults her, MA shouts at her and she takes it. Even the so called MA Jodha confrontation was just fika - MA shouted and Jodha said one line! Jodha atleast could have said MA is naam ki vazir or do not raise your voice or anything.
She let MA even insult Rajvanshis by saying Rajvanshi this and that and took away son. Jodha could have said she did not care about her son when she hurt him!
