I understand that the show has completed 200 episodes and have to say that time really flies as I have been watching the show a few episodes after it's inception . The promo attracted me after which the leads took over. The simplicity of the show , it's characters, it's narration was what I liked. The love story sans the scheaming MIL and SIL was the USP. Barkha though the antagonist was a misguided mother butnot the villain in its true sense. I hope and pray that the makers keep to that theme.
The love story has indeed taken a back seat and in the forefront is the big bad world which Barkha had warned the couple. For Laajo it was education and for Nikhil to support himself without his fathers name. And I miss the love story. Nikhil and Laajo with their ridiculous promise of not meeting each other does not gel. Nor do their respective families give a damn. A bit unbelievable.
The new entrant I read is going to be shade of grey with a competitive edge. Do not quite get the logic of Nikhil working in a diamond showroom unless it is the purpose of his mother and her friends landing their, or him being blamed for a theft or Laajo and Saagar landing their. Let me not speculate and wait to see where this is going.
The scene of the day for me was No not the Barkha - Nikhil scene as I thought it was a repetition but the Laajo and Saagar scene. Well contained and to the point without a lot of drama and theatrics. Loved Laajo's standing strong against Sagar.
Where are the other characters? Gunja , Rishi, Chaachu ... They really bought some realism to the show.
