For the past few days, Toshiji has come to limelight for all the wrong reasons. She blatantly blamed Ishita for breaking her daughter's marriage with that manhoos idiot and her constant rant about her daughter's heart being broken is just irritating me now. She couldnt help gush when Ishita had helped the kutta and brought him home but the minute Ishita showed his real side she become manhoos madrasan?! I can understand (but certainly don't approve) Simmi's rant that her pati is pure and innocent because it's all she knows. Nobody has shown her real proof and she is blind in her love for that kamina that she is going against her brother to support him. But what about Toshiji? She somewhere doesn't care if her damaad is at fault or not. She feels defeated in front of her madrasan bahu and even tells Raman that things could have been handled differently even though that perv might be at fault. Would she keep this stance if it was her daughter in place of Ishita? If Simmi was harrassed by another man, she wouldnt think twice before kicking that man's balls although it might be Simmi's fault too (today she mentions about Ishita's friendship with that perv could be the reason he acted that way). Why this double standard? End of the day is it just blood relation that matter to her? She wanted that same "manhoos madrasan" to save Raman's life by bringing back Ruhi but today calls her characterless. Very cheap and disgusting! 😡

I don't know if CVs are really portraying what's happening around the society but if they are then it's really saddening. A daughter in law always remains a daughter in law no matter how many sacrifices she does for the family. At the moment of need she is left alone to tend for herself. But the minute the daughter is in the picture, even if she throws away her family, they come running to help her.

Agree with you. Toshiji is a cheap and disgusting women with lot of double standards. For her just her daughter matters. she never tried to see the pain which her bahu has undergone because of that pervert. It's so sick of her to blame ishita for her daughter's broken marriage. If rinky is in the place of ishita will she say all these words to her own daughter definitely not. She never considered ishita as her family member. she just used ishita for ruhi's custody. she is so ungrateful she is calling ishita manhoos and characterless after ishita has done so much for her family. This women is a disgrace to women hood

I used to love her because in spite of her harsh tongue she really loved her family. She reminded me of Raman a lot with her "kadvi baat but andar se soft" but not anymore.

a clear example of double standards existing in our society. i can still pass off simi's behavior but toshiji's behavior her thinking is disgusting. she blatantly accepts creating a distinction bwtn daughter n DIL. its cheap

unfortunately yes, is still happens in society, people like toshi do exist and the don't see the seriousness of a problem, some slaps from her towards perv isn't gonna do anything and she would really want her own daughter to be with someone so low and pathetic as him. I just don't know. But yes simmi, I can understand and toshi I can understand to, but it's a shame on toshis part not only is she not good towards ishu but she wold rather have that perv back for her daughter. Hurting both of them in the long run. Tbh a lot worse stuff happens in society when it comes to this matter, you just have to watch news and go search online, the amount of stuff I've read and that to having happened in western countries makes me want to throw my computer out the window. And frankly I hope toshi begs for ishus forgiveness in the long run, for her behaviour now. Such a disappointment. Good post

i just thought what if any of my cousin is in simmi place.then i thought yes i wouldnt nt hand her husbsnd to police even he is wrong.considering my cousin and her baby and their future and society where no other men will come forward to marry and love that child as him i would go and wsrn him but not handover him to jail as he molested but nt raped or murdered.
i know it is so sad to hear this things.im feeling very very bad to say these things but its the truth.
a man with a child can get a new wife in india but a woman cant get a true person.so sad but true.

I respect your opinion but I am going to disagree.

Does having a child give an excuse to let men like Pervemeet out in the open? What kind of morals will that kind of a man give to his child? A father figure helps and guides the child become a strong pillar of society. What is the man whose mind is filled with filth going to offer the child. And tomorrow if some other man troubles the child or Simmi for that matter, is it okay to forgive him just because he has another family? Molest or rape its an offense to the highest degree where the guy has no respect for the opposite gender. It's the lowest a man can stoop when lusting for the opposite gender for his own advantage and also against the likes of the other person. There seems to be no regret in Pervmeet and to forgive such a guy is like water the weeds. It'll only cause harm.

Believe just other day, a 14year old girl was raped, the judge being female said she was less of a victim because she did have sexual history and that she didn't cry when she was being raped. And the guy got 45 days probation at a sexual assualt crisis centre, when he himself admitted to actually committing the crime. It was ridiculous. There was another teen girl who was raped at a part by two football guys, she was passed out because she drank to much but nevertheless they took advantage took videos and were laughing, and then the town itself seemed to want to cover it up, s**t shamed the girl, people where upset and even some news channels said oh poor the boys who raped the girls, their lives are ruined, seriously their lives what about the girl, unbelievable and the people her age and older didn't treat her any better going by the twitter comments completely bashing her. That's just some of the stuff. Obviously the western countries is far better in handling this stuff but it has a far share of problems and people behaving horribly towards the victim,.
