Will the real Tulsi please stand up?
Is is Tulsi or isn't she? That's the question the question most viewers are asking. While rumours insist that Padmini Kolhapure will definitely be the next Tulsi. But Padmini isn't willing to talk about it. Call the actor and the answer you are most likely to get is that she is out of town. Incidently, Gautami Gadgil (actor Ram Kapoor's wife), too was among the top contenders for the role and she openly spoke about the possibility of her being the next Tulsi. Wonder if that was the reason for her not getting the role. Rumours mills also claimed that hubby Ram had put in a word for Gautami, but that didn't seem to help. Padmini on the other hand seems to prefer to keep a low-profile and that seems to be an advantage for her atleast here. Well, whoever, plays Tulsi we wonder if playing the character with the ever increasing streaks of whitener will appeal to either actor... only time will tell.
