Dangerous Views: 11-APR-2014 EBP

So Aastha followed Aditi to the dilapidated house. She calls Shlok to show him this house and tell him that she has seen his photo inside but he cuts her call. Wonder why? Didn't she gift him the phone so that she can reach him when in need/trouble? Isn't he a little too laid back after so many accidents one after the other in the recent times?😕 Did he cut the call because he knew that Aastha will come looking for him? Okay I'll settle for the last explanation as it is at least romantic, though dumb.🤔 Aastha did come searching for her "patidev" and she tells him that she found something about Aditi. Shlok as usual shuts his brain as soon as that name popped up. Aastha tells him that she has seen his photo in that house. Aastha's love is not at all good for Shlok. He has become challenged in every department except for the one down south🤪. He thinks Aastha is imagining seeing him everywhere because she is blind in his love. He is so full of himself! Aastha anyway drags him to that house. The watchman near the house says that nobody lives there. So Shlok tells her to go back home and he goes back to office.

In the office, Shlok grumbles that Aastha is acting like she has nothing else to do other than going after Aditi when there is so much work pending at office. Hmmm. So why did he leave her at the house? He should have brought her along with him to the office. But Aastha won't get kidnapped if he acts on that thought. So it has to be this way. The pest drops by his office and uses his phone to send an sms to Aastha in Shlok's name telling her to come to that old house. Shlok sees her touching his phone and thinks that it is weird but still doesn't exhaust his brain much. If you see someone going through your smartphone, where you store important details, won't you at least check your phone to see if the person did something with it? I would.😳

Aastha gets the message and she was about to rush out of the house when Anjali stops her. She tells her that she should take elders' permission before leaving the house. It makes sense to inform someone where you are going before leaving the house. She puts a bindi on Aastha's forehead and scolds her gently for not wearing it before leaving the house. She lets Aastha go but Anjali doesn't give Sojal the same kind of liberty and acts in a very mean manner with her. Wonder what are the requirements to be Anjali's bahu? Anyway, Aastha goes that house and gets kidnapped by Aditi.

Shlok gets Aastha's reply for Aditi's sms from his phone. He thinks its weird but doesn't give much thought to it. The attender in the office asks him if he should put the old bio-data files away. While going through them one last time before telling the attender to store them away, Shlok finds Aastha's old bio-data file and he steals her photograph from it discreetly. This reminded me of the time when she lost her earring while fighting him and he pockets it after she left. He never returned it to her. He remembers distinctly every detail of their meeting when she came for the job interview. He was always attracted to her, since their first meeting.

Later when Shlok returns home, he finds that Aastha is not home. Anjali tells him that Aastha told her that she was going out to meet Shlok. Sojal and Anjali start blaming her that she lied to them in order to go to her mother's house. Shlok immediately pitches in to support Aastha. He says that Aastha tells lies only when she has to help/save someone. Awww. He knows her so well! Niranjan's face was a sight to see when Shlok talked in Aastha's favor. Aditi "checks" Aastha's room and tells everyone that she is not in the room either and she "worries" about her well-being. This gets all the members of the family worried. Anjali stops taunting and Sojal also seems worried. Niranjan also was worried though he is not too happy with Shlok's attachment to Aastha.

Overall, it was an okay episode as it is all about Aditi and all the main characters were dumbed down extremely to make room for her. I just don't understand her character. She was Niranjan's friend's daughter with heart problems first, then she became a sleep walker, then a stalker/seductress, then a psycho murderer and finally she is about to become Swathi's sister with a sad story to tell, which is supposed to justify all her terrorist activities and invoke pity for her🤢. Getting to know Shlok's other side is the saving grace. Good to know that the rest of the family also cares for Aastha, not just for Shlok.
