8th May Written update...

• Radha tries to console Sajni and tell her nothing will happen to her job but Sajni brushes her off
• Sajni is furious and vows to get back at Radha and come back in to the hospital
• Sweet Radha and Mohit scenes
• Avi is almost caught by Radha but saves himself in time
• Aai blasts Radha for spending to much time with Mohit
• Somebody silently watches Radha praying with the money beside her

Sajni runs out of the dean's office crying. Radha follows her and tells her that she will not let her leave and will even plead to the dean to let her stay. She shouldn't worry as she (Radha) will not let anything happen. However Sajni just becomes furious up on hearing this and pushes Radha away.

She tells Radha that she doesn't need sympathy and she should stop her pretences as this is all about time. Today 'waqt' is with her, but one day she will snatch this 'waqt' and will make sure Radha will not even be able to cry in peace!

She storms of leaving a sad Radha with Sajni's words ringing in her ears.

Canteen…

Radha is sitting and watching Gauri with a small smile. Gauri looks up and asks her what happened. Radha asks her what would have happened is Gauri had not been there? Only because of you I got my job back.

Gauri disagrees and says it was because of her honesty and hard work and she doesn't regret supporting her. Radha talks about her relationship of friendship with Gauri and prays to God that they should always be together.

Chamcham the all India Radio comes in singing 'Yeh Dosti' from Sholay. He gives them special made coffee made from his own hands and very seriously swears that nothing is mixed in to it. Gauri and Radha look at each other before breaking into laughter.

Sajni's cabin…

Sajni is furious as she throws around papers and files. Kekti is following her and worrying about what will happen to her now. She says that it is true, those who make a hole for others fall into it themselves. Sajni shuts her up by showing Kekti her fist and glaring at her.

Kekti tells her that she has done so much for her and she should not forget her and asks her to send her address so that she can send her letters. Sajni tells her to shut up otherwise she'll throttle her and shut it for life. Sajni continues by saying that this hospital was her address and will always be. Kekti is confused as she asks how?

Sajni looks at her slyly as she says that she will soon find a way to come back and though Kekti mentions Radha and Gauri, Sajni looks un concerned and places a finger on her lips to and says Sssh…

Garage…

Mohit is working and Radha comes in beaming. She watches him for some time before going up to him. She tells him she is very happy today and asks him to guess why. Without hesitating he says it was because she got her job back.

Radha is surprised and asks how he guessed it so easily? He replies that she is forgetting that he can read her face, and if he always sees her smiling like this then work will go well. And if work goes well then he'll get money, and if he gets money then their marriage will take place very quickly.

Radha blushes and tells him that that is enough. She only came here to share her happiness and he started seeing dreams. Mohit says that lets have a party for this happiness. Radha aggress but says for the time being, only for 'vada pao'. They both laugh.

Mohit's friend approaches them and is about to talk to Mohit when he notices Radha. He is happy to see her and asks when she came whilst walking forward. Mohit hastily pushes him back and calls him 'kabab meh haddi'. He asks his friend if he can leave them two alone.

His friend grins and says he only came here to give the keys as the car's ready for the test drive. But if Bhabhi is free then they can both go together. Radha hesitates but Mohit's friend pushes her by saying that at least this way she'll come to know what rubbish work Mohit does. But is she's still unsure he could also come with them two. Mohit pushes him away.

Radha and Mohit are driving in a jeep/car with the radio on and wind blowing in their hair. They look at each other shyly. Mohit goes to change the station and 'Khullam khulla pyar' comes on. They both laugh and go to change the song. Their hands collide and a romantic song comes on.

Both gaze at each other shyly before Mohit finally snaps out and changes the song again to 'Neele neele ambar'.

Radha notices a side stall and they both stop to first feed each other pani puri/gol gappe, followed by coconut (is it juice or milk? The thing you take out from coconuts with straws) ice-cream, and then Mohit gives her a red rose as the song plays on.

They get back into the car and drive away, laughing and looking at each other. Just then a man comes in front of the car and Mohit immediately puts on the breaks. The man is unharmed but immediately starts up a fuss. Mohit and the man get into an argument over whose fault it was and then the man starts gathering a crowd by shouting out that Mohit tried to kill him as Radha looks shocked.

Avi pushes through the crowd and sees Mohit and the man arguing with a desperate Radha trying to stop them. She also notices Avi and becomes surprised. He tries to hide and then runs away as Radha is confused thinking about Avi and the fact that he should now be in the office.

Mohit comes to her and asks her what happened. She tells him about seeing Avi but she convinces herself that he was in the office and they leave.

Radha's house…

Aai is pacing the floor in worry as Avi and Megs look on. Just then the door rings and Megs opens it to find Radha and stops her before she can go to her room. Megs slyly asks the reason for being late as she could not have had a shift in the hospital as she has been suspended – so did she have a shift in the garage?

Radha says it was nothing like that but is cut of by Aai who says something along the lines of you are taking advantage of our freedom. She is furious as she tells her that first she chose a boy of her own choice – they said nothing, she gave them more respect than her own family – they stayed quiet, she told them everything, yet they did not say anything. But now she has reached the limit.

Hearing the raised voices Dadi also comes out and Mohit's Aai stops at the door of the house.

Radha tries to talk but is cut of again by Aai who says she knows that Radha has been roaming freely with Mohit and bringing dishonour to them.

She says that Avinash has already told them everything and she didn't expect Radha to do such a thing. Though she may not have felt any shame, but she (Aai) does feel ashamed to call Radha her daughter.

Radha, Dadi and Mohit's Aai are stunned as Megs looks happy. Dadi comes and tells Ai to at least give Radha a chance to justify herself. But Aai turns round and asks her not to interfere as its Dadi's pampering that has given her so much freedom.

She turns back to Radha and continues to scold her, telling her that though Avi has started to earn, it does not mean that Radha can roam freely. The house's ration will finish in a few days and it would be better for her to think about getting a good job rather than roaming around with boys.

Aai makes to leave but is stopped by Radha who finally manages to say that she's been taken back on the job. Mehs is stunned to hear this and Aai is also surprised.

Radha tells them that the misconception that the hospital had has now been cleared and she'd gone to Mohit to tell him this only. Aai does not react and just leaves from there. Megs and Avi also follow leaving Radha saddened.

But Dadi steps forward and embraces her.

The next day…

Radha is reciting prayers in front of Lord Ganesha as she does the 'arthi'. Somebody watches her as she finishes her prayers and opens a box to take out a wad of money which she places in front of God and draws a swastika on it.

She prays to Ganesha for the strength and happiness of the family. But along with this she also prays for blessings for Mohit, her and the money. She prays for Mohit's hard work to pay of and for a successful marriage as there are now only two days left for him to fulfill Aai's condition.

The person watches as Radha finishes her prayers and puts the money back into a box.
