In the 26th march episode, when Aditi takes the bed in the cottage, shocking both Aastha and Shlok, the picture frames of Pink Tulips and Snow mountain are in their backgrounds respectively. And they both wear the same colors as the tulips and snow in the scene that follows. Coincidence?! I don't think so!
Mountains, in general, symbolize sturdiness, eternity, constancy, truth, ascent and difficulty.
Mountains withstand the tests of the nature and stand tall for eternity. Everything around them changes but they remain constant.
Mountains rise to the skies from the earth. so they connect two different worlds. Mountaintop holds the ultimate truth. A lot of temples are situated on mountaintops. They say Moses received the Ten Commandments on Mt. Sinai and Jesus found God on the same mountaintop. Since mountains rise to the skies, they offer better vantage point to get a better understanding of the things around you.
But reaching the mountaintop is not an easy task. It needs a lot of willpower, hard work and endurance. Here the mountaintop is covered with snow as well. So it is cold too. On the brighter side, you are ascending a mountain, which means you are rising and not falling, by choosing to take up this difficult task.
A lot of people do mountaineering risking their lives. What drives them to do that? At first it may be just a sense of adventure but as they push themselves a little more every day and overcome various obstacles to finally reach the summit, they learn humility. So I think choosing to climb a mountain is worth it just for this lesson.
Tulips, in general, symbolize fame and perfect love. They also mean eternal life and heralds of spring. Pink Tulips, in particular, symbolize affection, care and warmth. These are the first flowers that bloom in the spring while there is still snow on the ground. Though they seem delicate they can withstand the frost and survive. You plant these bulbs once and they bloom every spring for eternity.
Coming to the shot, it could mean that Aastha will choose to take up the task of climbing the snow top mountain called Shlok and with her warmth she will melt the frost. Aastha wrapped a red shawl on Shlok in this scene giving him the warmth of her love. Once she reaches the summit, she will know the truth behind why he is behaving that way. The knowledge will humble her and at the same time strengthen her. She will bring the change/spring in Shlok's life and he will be there for her always.
That's my take on the shot. Please share your views.😊
