Jai's concern for Bani was depicted so well. 👍🏼 I mean, he himself was shocked when he offered to her the option of coming and staying with him and his family. He can't seem to fathom his feelings for her at this stage, but he'll soon get there 😊

Chapter 15

Walking towards the car Bani saw a beautiful silver BMW waiting for them, Bani was little startled when she saw the doors automatically rise up, making sure she was comfortable enough in her seat, Jai made his way around. Bani was completely mesmerized by the whole interior of the car, she had never been such luxurious cars before, and that last experience she had was at least 10yrs back when she went to a relatives wedding, Bani kept staring at the beautiful interiors which had powerful color contrast and high quality refined leather.
Bani: It's a beautiful car.
Jai: Thank you I got it for my last birthday.
Bani smiled: So where are we going.
Jai: Hmmm… should I tell and kill the suspense….Bani gave him a puppy face…. you will know soon, for now would you mind if I turn on the music.
Bani (a little disappointed): I love music.
Jai: Ok then, let's hear it…the first song that started to play was….
…..Khamoshiyan gungunaane lagi
Tanhaaiyan muskuraane lagi
Sargoshi kare hawa, chupke se mujhe kaha
Dil ka haal bataa, dilbar se naa chhupa
Sunke baat yeh sharm se meri aankhen jhunk jaane lagi)
Jaag utha hai sapna kiska meri in aankhon mein
Ek nayi zindagi shaamil ho rahi saanson mein
Kisi ki aandhi hai sadaa hawaaon mein
Kisi ki baatein hai dabi si honton mein
Raat din meri aankhon mein koi parchhaayi lehraane lagi
Khamoshiyan gungunaane lagi
Tanhaaiyan muskuraane lagi….the song perfectly synchronized with their state of mind, both of them not knowing what to say, just listened to the song, Jai saw Bani keeping her gaze out side the window watching the trees, bikes, buses, cars pass by…
They both reached their destination, parking the car, they got out, Bani couldn't see any thing, but only hear a vague sound of the waves, her eyes lit up in excitement, Mr.Walia are we near a beach.
Jai: Yes we are near the Juhu beach. (Juhu beach is located 18 km north of the city center. This beach is one of the most exotic beaches on the shores of Arabian Sea. Areas near Juhu beach are one of the posh localities of Mumbai where bungalows of the famous film personalities are located. It is also the venue of many film shootings. Juhu beach is also a famous hangout zone of Mumbai)
Bani: I have never been here before, heard that many film shooting take place here….both of them started to walk on the sand, holding their sandals, getting closer and closer to the sea….
Jai: Yaa, I have seen few of them, which beach have you been to….
Bani: The chowpatty beach, but that was long time back, when I was five I think, and then I really didn't get the time or opportunity to come to the beach.
Jai felt bad, thinking that some people enjoy their life so much, but some don't even get time for the smallest enjoyments.
Bani: So do you come here often…..they both sat down of the soft sand, and kept their sandals to the side.
Jai: Not that often, but do come some times with friends or to just relax.
They both sat there hearing the loud waves inviting them and going back, looking at small children making little sand castles, couples walking hand in hand, some of them swimming, the others just relaxing…..after some time Jai got up and dusted his pants….
Jai: Would you like to go near the water.
Bani (got up as well dusting her pants): Hmm….I don't know….I am scared Mr.Walia.
Jai: It will be fine; nothing will happen…
Bani: Ok, both of them went near the water, but as soon as the cool water touched the tip of her toes she stepped back, Mr.Walia….I am not too sure if I want to do this…..Why don't you go, I will sit here and watch….
Jai: Come on Bani, look even the little kids are enjoying, I am there na, nothing will happen….seeing Bani still stand at the same spot…he came back and held his hand out….come on give me your hand…..Bani still kept looking at him…come on Bani….she reluctantly gave him her hand and both proceeded towards the sea….getting more and more closer to the water Bani held his hand more and more tighter
Jai: Bani, if you keep holding my hand like that my blood circulation will stop and I am sure going to faint…..Bani hit him on the shoulder…..I am scared and you think it's funny….giving him an angry look she started to walk away from him….
Jai: Oh…Ohhhh…bad joke….Bani….Bani….he started to walk fast, to catch up with her, but seeing him come closer, Bani also began to walk as fast as she could (I mean to say limp, thanks nema for pointing that out) getting further away from him….
Jai: Bani….OMG….wait…Bani….oh look there is big wave coming your way….Bani stopped on her tracks….and started to come back….straight towards Jai and hugged him with her hands on his back….she closed her eyes feeling the sands take them along more inside the water, Jai a little shocked with Bani holding him like this..Bani…Bani…you ok…slowing opening her eyes she saw they were a little away from the shore and the water level was up to their knees….Bani let out a scream….becoming more scared…..OMG Mr.Walia…we both will drown …what will we do now…
Jai wanted to laugh at her statement, but decided not to especially looking at her scared face….Bani just hold on to me and close your eyes….Bani..open your eyes, she slowly opened her eyes and saw that they were on the shore…
Bani: Mr. Walia how did we get here…
Jai: Oh...simple I called a helicopter and they rescued us….
Bani hit him again….ouch Bani, that hurts….good it does…you are so mean….making a sad face…
Jai: I am sorry…please….
Bani: Ok..only this time…
Jai smiles at her…do you want to go on a horse ride or donkey…this is one specialty of this beach…
Bani: Oh, no…I don't even know how to ride a cycle properly and you are telling me to ride a horse…
Jai: Oh come on Bani, the horse instructor will be there, he will guide you, and horse will go very slow, it's nothing to be sacred of, and this opportunity is not there always, it's offered only on weekends…Ok I will go first and you watch me, then if you feel like it then you can also take the ride…
Bani: Ok….so they both made their way to one of the horse owner, paid him the money and Jai got on the horse first and the person took him for a small round.
Jai got down of the horse…see it wasn't bad…
Bani still a little confused: I don't know, you have experience, what if I fall.
Jai: Bani till know, I never had an experience of falling down, you will love it.
Horse person: Yes madam, it is a trained horse and I will also be there, so there is nothing to worry.
So Bani also decided why not give it a try so sat on the horse and took a small tour around and quite liked it.
Jai: Bani I want to show you some thing else also.
Bani: Is it another ride or some thing.
Jai: No, but you will love it, so she followed Jai and was quite surprised to see these activities on the beach., dancing monkeys and people performing acrobats was some thing unusual , her eyes lit up when she saw the artists do all different kind of amazing things, and cheered for them along with the crowd.
Seeing her like this full of life, Jai was happy that he made the right decision of getting her here….So after few minutes they moved away from there, and settled down to see the sunset and relax before heading back home.
On the way back to their car, Bani saw the some thing and started shouting Pani Poori!!!! and dragged Jai along with her to vendor.
Bani: Bhaiyya, do dhena…
Jai: Bani, you like this, I mean if you want to eat then may be we can go to a restaurant, doesn't seem so clean…
Bani: Oh Mr. Walia, then you haven't tasted it, the restaurant people can never make it the way it taste here…with that she took the plate from the vendor's hand and started to eat them…making a mmmmm….sound like she was in heaven, too good…Jai was giving her a disgusting look, seeing him like this she ordered two more.
Jai: How many will you eat Bani, I think that's enough.
Bani: Ohh, I can eat more with out any problem, but these are for you.
Jai: No way!!! I am going to eat this.
Bani: Come on Mr. Walia, I did all that you told me to, now it's your turn, please…seeing her face he decided to give a try and took a bit in the middle of the poori making all the pani drip from his chin to his shirt.
Bani (laughing): Your are supposed to put the whole thing in your mouth at once, not take bite by bite.
Vendor: Madam, laktha hai saab ko nahin pata pani poori kaise kathe hai, app hi khilayiye use.
Bani was a little taken back, but Jai already encouraged her opening his mouth wide, and gesturing her to put the pani poori in. So she put it in his mouth and Jai quite liked the taste so both of them ordered to two more, paying the vendor made their way back to the car.
The drive was a little long, because of the traffic jam, so when they reached Bani's apartment it was about 8:00PM.
